Hello everyone, I am Giulia and I am Italian.

All of my education has been gravitating towards languages, not only because of my strong desire to communicate effortlessly with people from other countries and getting to know more about their cultures, but also for my interest towards the structure of every language itself. Since the beginning of my high school years I have been studying and absorbing grammar and literature of Ancient Greek and Latin. This allowed me to improve my grammar basis and made my passion for it grow stronger. Meanwhile, I was carrying out the study of English, French and Spanish, on my own.

Later on, those languages have been the center of my studies at the University of Turin. After graduating in 2016 in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation, I decided to move to Boston, United States, in order to experience what speaking another language really means and to know more about a new culture. During my stay, not only had I the possibility to reach an advanced level of English, but I also improved my Spanish and, to a lower extent, my French, having the possibility of practicing them daily. In August 2017, I moved to Spain, where I attended a Masters in Intercultural Communication, Translation and Interpreting in Public Services offered by the University of Alcalá (Madrid).

Throughout my education I had the possibility to deepen my knowledge of the mentioned languages, to learn how to translate and interpret and I had the chance to learn more about linguistics as well. I am now fully fluent in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.

I am a translator at core and I have been a translator intern for CIDA’ archives in Alcalá de Henares, in Spain, using different language combinations. In 2018, I moved to Portugal, where I have been working for Accenture as a Business Analyst. Meanwhile, I have been translating for YOKO Translate and for WonderWords and I have been working as a translator for private clients. I have also been teaching English for 8Belts, a Spanish company which base its courses on the e-learning. Moreover, I have autonomous students who mainly want to learn Italian, English or Spanish.

I learnt myself four languages my own way, giving importance to the grammar, but focussing also on other aspects which are usually a bit underrated, such as vocabulary and listening. I have myself created games and teaching strategies to help my students get better results, although the method is adaptable to every specific situation.

For teaching, I use some manuals depending on the level of the student, but also personal material I have been collected during the years or created. My method is a mix of standard and original learning strategies and I hope you'll have the chance to join my course and take advantage of them.

I hope my skills, motivation and commitment make me the right teacher for you.

If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to hearing back from you. Thank you for your time and thoughtful consideration.

Best Regards,

Giulia Genovese

I have studied for several years in different institutions to obtain my degree. I started teaching Romanian years ago in Romania. Later on, I have also offered my help and support to Spanish students, as I have been living in Spain for many years.

The learning offered depends on the interest and age of my students. They can choose what suits them best, so I will adapt to the personal needs of each of them.

A mixture of traditional and new methodologies will be used to obtain satisfactory results for both parties: student-teacher.

We will be using study books, audio and video materials, all kinds of worksheets, games and of course conversations, which will lead the students to have a better pronunciation and oral comprehension.

My name is Iris and I am an English teacher for kids, high school students, college and working adults for over 2 years.
My hobbies are singing and playing my ukulele.
I love teaching English with music because it can help children learn the sounds and meanings of words and
allowing them to practice self-expression. I help young children to learn the basics of the English language, from the alphabet to simple words and sentences. For junior students I teach the basic concepts of English grammar needed to speak and write accurately. The topics include sentence structure, verb tenses, prepositions, and other exercises to help students improve their pronunciation.
I believe my teaching experience and passion for engagement make me an ideal tutor.
I have experience teaching elementary-level students in a variety of settings.
I am currently teaching children ages from 6-12 and working adults from China and European countries. As a former worker in customer service, I acquired technical skills in using multiple software systems and honed my English communication skills through phone calls and email writing.
I think my varied experiences can cater to working adults who are trying to find time in their busy work life to develop their English skills. It is my goal to combine my wide range of experience with my ability as a compassionate, enthusiastic and a smart teacher that can provide a positive contribution to your English proficiency.

Very professional, easy-going and patient, especially for beginners like me! :D There are a lot of interesting content within his teaching material interweaving with the grammar, which makes the lesson very entertaining and helps acquire the knowledge about language easier. In one hour with Diego you can get an excellent learning experience but also a decent package of information about the Spanish culture!

Hi, I'm Franci. I'm an all-around but one of my favourite things is to teach and spread my passion for languages and cultures. I studied translation and intercultural communication, collecting moves around 5 countries.
I have many experiences as private teacher of Italian, English and German for kids, teenagers and adults. My biggest satisfaction so far has been to see a girl hating the German language at the beginning, ending up pursuing a university path in German!
What is important for me as a teacher: I want to understand your motivation and need for learning or getting better in a language. My methods will be tailored to your needs, interest, and learning skills.

Hey there,

Let me tell you quickly something about me and what I do.

I am a translator by training and a compulsive traveler by birth. I love cats and salsa music. English has always been my passion and I'm here to help other people feel confident when speaking, writing and working with this language.

My teaching method is a very personal mix made of tips and methods taken from different schools of thought, many first-hand experiences I have had in the field, all combined with my mission to help students overcome their fears and blocks when it comes to English.

In my classes you will have the advantage of feeling well looked after - my preparation in cultural and language studies allows me to listen to and understand the challenges students from different linguistic backgrounds face.

If this sounds like you, let's start working together.

With dedication,
Elisabetta

My name is Yaledis. I am a Petroleum Engineer. I am from Colombia but I am living in Hungary now. Living in another country has given me an appreciation for other cultures and deepened my understanding of the Spanish language by seeing it from a new perspective. I love to learn about people from different backgrounds and hear their stories so I've been happy to be a Spanish teacher for the past few years.

I have 3+ years of tutoring experience. I have worked with students of different ages and levels: beginners, intermediate or advanced. I have worked in high schools, online teaching platforms, and also as a freelance teacher, so I have extensive experience in teaching methods to make sure that my students meet their goals. I can offer Spanish lessons for adults, middle school and high school.

I have excellent communication skills, I always have a positive attitude, and I am very patient, I am an active listener who believes in allowing students to have their own voice. I combine different resources and techniques to help you improve.

I have the Teaching Knowledge test certificate:

Module 1 - Background to language learning and teaching

Module 2 - Lesson planning and use of resources for language teaching

Module 3: Managing the teaching and learning process

I also have a certificate of Effective Classes granted by Pearson Education and Teacher of Spanish for Foreigners granted by the Carpe Diem University and Professional Training Center.

I have experience creating pedagogical projects that allow daily interactions, interactive and playful practices that facilitate the learning of a second language. Likewise, I have helped high school students prepare for the ICFES state exam, a standardized test applied to students who are in the last year of high school in Colombia in order to give them official results that allow them to access higher education, for which I have experience teaching students with specific objectives.

Most of my classes are given in Spanish, so you can start thinking in Spanish faster, reducing the need to translate from your native language. I can speak in English if it is absolutely necessary.

I make explanations of grammar and vocabulary in communicative contexts, in this way you can begin to integrate what you have learned in different dialogues. I will create different situations that can arise when communicating, for example, ordering food in a restaurant, going shopping, asking for directions to get to a place, etc.

My classes follow a structural approach that will allow you to understand the easiest grammar rules first and then the more complicated ones. For this, I use the curriculum designed by the Miguel de Cervantes Institute. I use role-plays, games, readings, videos, audios, movies, articles, and mind maps

My lessons are student-centered, where I will guide the student and they will be doing most of the talking. I usually ask a lot of questions so that you can practice your speaking. I am an energetic and positive teacher and like to have fun with my students. I believe in positive reinforcement and letting the student know it is okay to make mistakes.

Hi everyone!

My name is Kilian, I am 29 years old and I am a Spanish guy from Canary Islands.

A year ago I graduated in Spanish Language at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and I also finished the course that accredits me as a DELE examiner for levels B1 and B2 by the Instituto Cervantes. After studying abroad for six months (Czech Republic) I knew that I wanted to dedicate myself to teaching Spanish as a foreign language, so here I am!

Of course, my mother tongue is Spanish, but I also have an intermediate level of English which can be very useful to solve some doubts that may arise during the classes.

So if you want to learn more about Spain, about the fourth most spoken language in the world, and one of the most widely spoken languages in the planet, I look forward to share with you all of my knowledge in our class!

All the best!

I found CoLanguage accidentally when I was searching for online private lessons to improve my spanish skills which had diminished a bit since my stay abroad two years ago (B2+ level). After the free trial with Noelia (where we talked about my objectives and her learning methods and got to know each other) I was already so blessed and motivated! Her lessons are well-structured, she is really flexible, patient, reacts to sentences spoken and directly helps to rephrase mistakes/sentences. I am able to repeat and learn grammar/vocabularies and at the same time we have good conversations which makes my speaking more fluent again. She visualizes everything while speaking which makes it easy to follow. I am really looking forward to continue learning Spanish with her!

Top-notch teacher! Highly recommended!
