Hello everyone, I am Giulia and I am Italian.
All of my education has been gravitating towards languages, not only because of my strong desire to communicate effortlessly with people from other countries and getting to know more about their cultures, but also for my interest towards the structure of every language itself. Since the beginning of my high school years I have been studying and absorbing grammar and literature of Ancient Greek and Latin. This allowed me to improve my grammar basis and made my passion for it grow stronger. Meanwhile, I was carrying out the study of English, French and Spanish, on my own.
Later on, those languages have been the center of my studies at the University of Turin. After graduating in 2016 in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation, I decided to move to Boston, United States, in order to experience what speaking another language really means and to know more about a new culture. During my stay, not only had I the possibility to reach an advanced level of English, but I also improved my Spanish and, to a lower extent, my French, having the possibility of practicing them daily. In August 2017, I moved to Spain, where I attended a Masters in Intercultural Communication, Translation and Interpreting in Public Services offered by the University of Alcalá (Madrid).
Throughout my education I had the possibility to deepen my knowledge of the mentioned languages, to learn how to translate and interpret and I had the chance to learn more about linguistics as well. I am now fully fluent in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.
I am a translator at core and I have been a translator intern for CIDA’ archives in Alcalá de Henares, in Spain, using different language combinations. In 2018, I moved to Portugal, where I have been working for Accenture as a Business Analyst. Meanwhile, I have been translating for YOKO Translate and for WonderWords and I have been working as a translator for private clients. I have also been teaching English for 8Belts, a Spanish company which base its courses on the e-learning. Moreover, I have autonomous students who mainly want to learn Italian, English or Spanish.
I learnt myself four languages my own way, giving importance to the grammar, but focussing also on other aspects which are usually a bit underrated, such as vocabulary and listening. I have myself created games and teaching strategies to help my students get better results, although the method is adaptable to every specific situation.
For teaching, I use some manuals depending on the level of the student, but also personal material I have been collected during the years or created. My method is a mix of standard and original learning strategies and I hope you'll have the chance to join my course and take advantage of them.
I hope my skills, motivation and commitment make me the right teacher for you.
If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to hearing back from you. Thank you for your time and thoughtful consideration.
Best Regards,
Giulia Genovese

I am Susana or just call me Su, I grew up in Venezuela but my family is from Portugal, and I have been teaching in Madrid since 3 years ago. According to my students I am patient, dedicated and arrive to each class with a positive and happy attitude. As a teacher I am optimistic and enthusiastic and always try to transmit a boundless energy and yet straight-forward -guide. I know how to handle the change for different situations and to be flexible to every one according to their needs and goals.
The classes are a wonderful balance of textbook work and general speaking and reading, which is great to help with pronunciation and real life Spanish conversations.
The only I ask from students is that they want to learn and to share their stories as I will
I hold a Certificate in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. My bachelor degree is Modern Languages from Universidad de Margarita but still I am learning everyday speacially from my students.
I started my experience as an assistant Spanish teacher at CELA Spanish School in Margarita island, eight years ago. Then I moved to London for one year and worked as one to one Spanish tutor. Today I am currently living in Madrid and work as a Spanish Teacher

My name is Alberto and I am 27 years old. I am currently finishing the double degree in Spanish and French Law at the Universities Complutense of Madrid, and Sorbonne of Paris. I speak Spanish, English, French, German and Italian. I am a serious and responsible person. Moreover I am quite sociable, extrovert and easygoing. As you might have seen, one of my passions is the study of foreign languages. I love learning them, studying them, and keeping permanently in touch with them, even after having obtained the C2 Certificate in French, I carry on learning more features of the language.
On the other hand, I love putting my knowledge into practice, either speaking in other languages with foreign people or teaching. I have been a foreig language teacher for three years, in Spain and in Paris. And I have always obtained remarkably good results. I personnally love working as a language teacher. It is another opportunity of keeping studyig one specific language whereas you are helping other people to learn. In addition, students often work hard, which encourages me to do my best when preparing and during the classes
For me teaching foreign languages is a delightful experience. It allows me to keep growing, not only academically speaking, but also as a person. It allows me to help the people who need it and to share and convey my knowledge. It is a specially pleasant job, and I have the intention to work as a language teacher in a full-time contract in a near future.
In my clases I adapt myself to the needs of my student. We practice the speaking, the writing, or any other skill the student desires. We learn also grammar and vocabulary. I like to work with spread sheets of grammar and vocabulary to consolidate the grammar basis, but I also like using other ressources, such as films, books, videos, games, songs or articles from the newspaper.
I am quite patient comprehensive and kind. All the students that came to me with problems or difficulties bearing relation to the grammar have come through them with a great success after some lessons with me.
I hope that the statements shown here make you considering a possible contract with me as your teacher. You will not regret it. Please do not hesitate to contact me if require further information.

Great lesson! Alberto always prepares the lessons so well that I really learn something. The material used is varied and individually tailored to what I want to practice. This is how I really enjoy my homework. The discussion of my tasks is as detailed as I would like. I've made good progress in the past few hours. Of course, punctuality is a matter of course.

Ciao! My name is Mauro, I am native Italian from Calabria! I am a very passionate teacher, I love to share my language and my knowledge about Italy, and its culture, films, music, literature, arts, food!!! I firmly believe that learning is based on trust between teacher and student, and the first objective of my classes is to individuate student's objectives and preferences. My teaching methodology is integrated: I think that it is important to work on all of linguistic abilities: oral and writing comprehension and production. I also think that lessons must be as much as fun as possible, and I use a lot of authentic material: songs, films, cooking recipes, newspapers, advertising and so on...

(I ONLY OFFER GROUP CLASSES ON HERE :) )
Hello, my name is Rebecca Rygaard.
Recently graduated as a teacher of Danish and English for the primary and lower secondary schools in Denmark, according to the Bachelor's Degree Program in Education, from University College Copenhagen.
I am born and raised in Denmark, and am a native speaker of Danish.
In my teaching I use a communicative approach, focused on having us communicate with each other and produce language to learn it. We will learn both from "input" (what we hear, read) and "output" (what we say, write).
This communicative approach will be focused on "real life" and authentic situations - that means that I'll actually base the teaching on my students lives. I.e. we could be talking about what has brought you to want to learn Danish. There will be authentic language only in this class - not language about hypothetical situations, that you might not ever need.
As part of this method, we'll be using task-based learning - you'll often learn the language through "tasks" in my class, with the point that you'll have to use communication, in cooperation with your peers (or me) to solve them. It's a lot of fun, I guarantee.
You will also be learning about the Danish culture, as I believe culture and language go together, and one cannot be understood without the other (I very much look forward to introducing you to Danish customs, traditions and food).
I'll be focused on your progress, rather your 'errors', as I don't believe in teaching a language by focusing on student's "mistakes", but on their potential. There is an "interlanguage" that is the language that emerge in between your original language, and the language you're trying to learn. And it is only normal that this language is a bit of a mix, that is ever-evolving.
With me, you'll also have the important advantage that I am both a teacher of English and Danish, and therefore know how the languages correlate.
I've learned about all of these aspects "the communicative approach", "task-based learning", "cultural studies" and "interlanguage" and a "functional view on language learning", as a part of my education, and I know they are all a part of recent research in the field.
I have prepared a lesson plan for beginners - which can both be used for group- and single lessons. But I can also create a specifically crafted lesson plan just for you and your needs/level, or if you already know Danish, but just want to improve it.
I hope we meet, and look forward to helping you learn some Danish :)

Hey guys!
As a famous proverb says: "You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream."
Many people say it’s easier to learn a language when you are young but there are advantages to learning a language when you are older.
That's why I'm here, your teacher Mila, to help you improve your vocabulary, grammar, erase your fear for speaking and teach you some great things about the world's culture.
I'm a Master Professor of English Language and Literature, with more than 8 years of teaching experience in several countries.
I'm focused on teaching vocabulary and grammar through speaking and natural acquisition with communication.
There's no any boring book in my class, but a lot of interesting materials, worksheets and videos created for each and every student individually to meet everyone's requirements.
I'd be happy to meet you soon and start creating some magic with learning.

My name is Lisette and I live in Cape Town, South Africa.
I have had 2 years of tutoring experience in English and am currently tutoring a 5-year-old boy in the UK.
I am a certified ESL teacher after completing a 120-hour course through www.letstefl.com which is affiliated and accredited with WTEFLAC (World TEFL Accrediting Commission). This enables me to teach beginners, intermediate and advanced students.
I am very patient and believe in having a great relationship with my students, so learning revolves around trust, and making mistakes is natural! I strongly believe in motivation and praise and building your self-confidence on your English language journey. I will be with you all the way!
My learning materials depend on what lessons you require. If you are a beginner, we'll be using fun flashcards and props. I have an interactive board that I use as well as a whiteboard and playing games and checking your comprehension as we go along. Not to mention rewards and lots of fun!
For intermediate students, we can expand your basic English, learn about different pop cultures, what you are interested in, music, and social media.
If you just need basic English to shop, to use local transport or to order in a restaurant, I'll provide examples that are simple and easy to remember.
I look forward to hearing from you and any questions that you may have.

Hi! My name is Andrea and I am Italian. During the last years I have been living in Spain too, which is for me my second homecountry.
I have been studying languages at university and since I love teaching the languages I speak, I offer you a great language course of Spanish or Italian.
I can assure you great results since I use methods that work with everyone and make you realize how quick can you be when you want to learn a new language, at any level!
Also, since I have been studying many languages, it helps me to understand how to teach correctly a language to a person who doesn't have it as native language.
For me, languages are much more than just a way to communicate with someone else. Also, I think that my passion in this field helps me to transmit to the students the desire to keep studying and learning amazing languages like these.
Contact me and let's have a trial lesson! It's free! :)

Hi!
My name is Kirstine. I'm an experienced English and Danish teacher. I teach at a primary and lower secondary school. (Students aged 6-16). But I'm also very interested in teaching both younger and older/adult students.
I'm an international coordinator at my school, and very used to working with students and teachers from all around the world.
I'm used to online teaching.
I love having contact with people from all around the world. I used to travel a lot, but now I love to meet people from other countries either at my AirBnB or through online sessions.
I love to hear from you and teach you either Danish or English.
I have an informal way of teaching, and will work together with you to make the sessions how you prefer them.
We can use a textbook if you prefer, but I also like to read the news, small books, look at online videos and more, and to discuss and learn from that.
