Hej! I offer Danish lessons (in both English and Polish) Languages are my passion, and I am excited to share this passion with you. If... you're eager to explore Danish, I'm here to help you on your language-learning journey. Are you learning a completely new and uniquely unfamiliar language, or maybe you're polishing your language skills? I've been there too, so I totally get the struggles you're dealing with. I've created some effective techniques that have worked for me – together, we'll discover the ideal learning path just for you. I have over 7 years of teaching experience and my aim isn't to be your conventional teacher. Instead, I want to be your language companion. I prepare a detailed summary after each lesson (with new exressions, vocabulary and grammar), which I send to my students in PDF/DOC + tailored homework. Diving into Danish might be a bit tricky at times, especially nailing those pronunciations, but you can do it! I can get you ready for moving to Denmark, language exams, work, university or we can just learn for fun. Every lesson will be a dynamic blend of activities to sharpen your Danish skills, from chatting and reading to listening and polishing grammar (if needed) and pronunciation. No stress, no worries – you'll naturally fall for Danish as we go along (if you haven't yet)! We'll dive into the culture, explore quirky and distinctive Danish words and expressions, discover traditions, immerse ourselves in movies and TV series and so much more. I have been a teacher at coLanguage for more than three years... now, but as a teacher in `the language music´ I have been working for several years. I have 25 years of experience as an organist in a church. I teach choirs for children and adults and I have been a piano teacher. I feel that my experience in teaching choirs and pianostudents and playing music is very fruitful for the way that I teach Danish. I have followed an intensive online Dutch course and as a student I think it works out very well. You are making progress very fast, because you speak a lot, and the teacher can take your speaking level as your starting point. I’ve always had a penchant for language because it has both technical and creative facets: from grammar to the cultural and social aspects.... This is why started working in Computational Linguistics and also why I'm now also teaching languages. I currently teach three languages: - Spanish: My native language. - English: I have extensive experience with academic English. I have published in international journals, I have taught undergrad and graduate courses in English, and I have supervised and co-supervised Master and Ph.D students. - Danish: I have lived in Denmark for more than 10 years. If you have a particular goal and timeframe in mind, I can create a study plan for you. My lessons usually contain the following parts, but they will be flexible depending on the situation. - Correcting the exercises I gave you in the last lesson, while I give you feedback. - Answering any questions you may have, either about the exercises or about the theory you have read. - We can also practice conversation covering aspects of living in a Spanish-speaking country as a foreigner, such as cultural differences. If you are interested in history, customs and social issues in Spain, I can easily create conversations about these topics. - We’ll agree on what theory you can read next and which new exercises you can complete before the next lesson. If you have trouble with a specific area, be it pronunciation, grammar, or semantics, we will make a special focus on it.
