I have taught English for 30 years at all levels of TESOL in Iran and Belgium as well as helping students for proficiency tests and exams including TOEFL , IELTS, SAT. GMAT, GRE. I have also helped students in editing their graduate theses. I have studied engineering, Teaching English, in the US and Iran.

My approach is both academic and practical. Having studied both languages independently as well as at university level, I am intensely aware of the difficulties learners have. I clarify things in simple terms that the student can understand. I explain how things work and why to ensure the learner understands exactly what’s going on and can use it confidently. I give ample opportunity to practice it actively and passively in tailored lessons with games, music, videos, writing exercises, grammar drills and conversation.

I provide most learning material electronically from my expansive library, but also purchase physical copies of textbooks for students when possible and necessary.

Hi, my name is Nomsa. I am an English tutor with 3 years experience in English tutoring. I can teach both adults and children for beginners, intermediate and business English lessons. My hobbies are watching movies, cooking and traveling around the world. I would like to meet new people and learn their ways of living as I am teaching them English as a second language.

I started working as an Arabic teacher more than 10 years ago. During this time I have taught students from various countries and of different ages. They are learning Arabic for several reasons such as conversation, politics, Islam and literature. We have enjoyed learning with photos, videos, music and games to develop the different skills like speaking, listening, reading and writing. I studied two diplomas in teaching Arabic to foreigners at Cairo University and a course at the American University in Cairo and currently I am studying masters in the same field.
