Exercise change passive voice to active voice
Change the passive sentence in an active sentence.
Remember, to transform an passive sentence in an acitve one, follow these steps:
- The subject of the passive sentence becomes the object of the active sentence.
- The auxiliary verb 'to be' is replaced by the main verb.
- The agent of the passive sentence becomes the subject of the active sentence.
- The preposition 'by' (added to the passive sentence) disappears in the active sentence.
Example:
- Blue trousers are worn by her.
- She wears blue trousers.
