Ieri mattina stavo camminando per andare a prendere la macchina e partire per un gita in montagna. Avevo già preparato lo zaino e dovevo solo andare al bar sotto casa per prendere un croissant. Mentre stavo facendo colazione e leggendo il giornale un ragazzo si è avvicinato offrendomi un caffè. Io l'ho ringraziato e abbiamo iniziato a chiacchierare, scoprendo così che anche lui era diretto nella mia stessa località. A quel punto abbiamo deciso di fare il viaggio insieme, ascoltando musica e cantando a squarciagola. Una volta arrivati a destinazione sono andata ad affittare gli sci e poi ci siamo diretti verso le piste. Avendo già sciato prima d'allora, non ho avuto molti problemi e ci siamo divertiti molto. Nel pomeriggio ci siamo presi una bella cioccolata calda e ci siamo rilassati un po'. Il viaggio di ritorno è stato veloce e siamo tornati a casa per l'ora di cena. Non sapendo cosa cucinare, abbiamo deciso di andare a cena in un ristorante vegano dove abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Avendo sciato ed essendo stati fuori casa tutto il giorno, eravamo esausti e dopo esserci salutati sono tornata a casa e sono andata a dormire.

I have been working as Italian teacher for two years to migrants, for refugee centers and humanitarian corridors in Italy. My opinion is “Viva l’intercultura”, that means looking at the person’s linguistic needs. Italian lessons become a space where the cultures meet and match each other, and step by step, the student can build the Italian language. For me, the cultures exchange is very important.
I’d rather to teach with an inductive, interactive, and cooperative method, which focus on communication functions, but doesn’t forget the grammar. I use manuals, worksheets, interactive games, songs and video.
