Exercise of unreal conditional sentences (present)
Fill in the missing verbs and complete the sentences.
Recap:
With the unreal condition, we describe a condition that is not fullfilled in the present. Therefore, we use in both parts of the sentence the subjunctive II. (we can also use the würde + infinitive form). The würde form is more used.
- Wenn ich Geld hätte, würde ich dir das Buch kaufen.
- Wenn ich Geld hätte, kaufte ich dir das Buch.

(If I was poor, I would beg)
2.) Wenn die Prüfung morgen wäre, du keine Angst haben. (müssen)
(If the test would be tomorrow, I wouldn't need to be scared)
3.) Wenn ich einen Kompass , fände ich die Richtung. (haben)
(If I had a compass, I would find the direction)
4.) Ich euch sehr dankbar, wenn ihr mir einen Salat mitringen könntet. (sein)
(I would be very grateful to you, if you could bring a salad)
5.) Die Kinder würden Fernsehen schauen, wenn sie mit ihren Hausaufgaben fertig . (sein)
