Exercise on demonstrative adjectives
Fill in the missing words by using the right demonstrative adjective.
Recap: You have to differentiate between the gender of the noun (masculine, feminine, neuter), the number (singular, plural), and the distance (nearby or far away).
Example: Mit dieser Aufgabe werde ich heute nicht mehr fertig. Ich werde sie morgen beenden. (I can't finish this task today. I will do it tomorrow.)
1. Computer dort sind alt. (Those computers over there are old.)
2. Ich mag Wein lieber, als den anderen. (I like this wine better than the other.)
3. Bücher hier sind ihre, aber sind meine. (These books here are hers, but those over there are mine.)
4. Das Rätsel kann mithilfe Hinweise gelöst werden. (The puzzle can be solved with the aid of these hints.)
5. Haus dort ist unbewohnt. (That house over there is uninhabited.)
6. Wem gehört Motorrad? (Who owns this motorcycle?)
7. Schau dir mal Artikel an. (Look at this article.)
8. Fotos sind viel besser, als Fotos in dem Buch. (These photos are much besser, than those photos in the book.)
9. Mantel dort gefällt mir besser, als Jacke hier. (I like that coat better, than this jacket.)
10. Fotos haben wir in Indien geschossen. (We shot these photos in India.)
