Hi, my name is Jlenia, a native Italian speaker. I got a bachelor degree in Linguistic mediation in 2016 and after that I had the choice to work in a private school in Novosibirsk, Russia. Working as Italian teacher fullfilled my desidere to teach my own language to foreigners . In my method of teaching, I try to meet student’s needs . My approach to lesson is: why do you learn a language ? For tourism , for work, for pleasure. I plan every lesson taking into account writing, conversation, listening. I provide authentic material that allows student to reach the aimed objectives. You will speak as much as possible in Italian language and don’t forget to play some games such as role games. My name is Karolin and since the beginning of 2017, while I was still living in Chile, I've been giving online classes. I really enjoy my work and it gives me the privilage to get to know people from all around the world, which is amazing.

Both in English and in German, I teach classes for beginners and advanced students. I speak Spanish fluently, but as I lived in Chile for around 5 years, both my pronounciation and my choice of words are influenced by that. This is Sumru. I am a native Turkish speaker from Istanbul. I graduated from Translation Studies in 2014 and speak English and Spanish. I lived in Madrid for half a year and in different parts of Australia for a year.

Also the reason I chose Translation Studies is that I have a great interest in languages, including etymology, linguistics, phonetics and cultural aspects of them and I love not only learning about them, but also teaching them.

Becoming a professional translator requires a better command of your native language than your second language, so the Turkish I will be teaching will be more comprehensive than that of a native who hasn't studied languages.

I have been teaching Turkish online in another platform, and now I am on colanguage. I offer individual lessons for students, based on their goals, needs, language levels, and some other factors.

My name is Mariateresa, I'm Italian and I teach English, Italian and Spanish to foreign students.

Having lived in Spain during my last year at University, I moved to the UK, where I lived for the next five years. My English at that time was quite poor and I made a living by doing various jobs.

One day, inspired by my amazing English teacher Mandy, I had an idea: why not teach my native language and Spanish to English people and other nationalities? You wouldn’t believe how fascinated people are by these languages!

It was in 2017 when I fell in love with this job. So much so that one year later I successfully attained a TESOL Certificate, to teach English as a foreign language.

Teaching allows me to fully express myself and my personal qualities, such as patience and an ability to give my full attention to other people. By giving students a space in which to express themselves without fear, I create a safe, non-judgemental environment.

When a new student contacts me I always offer them a free trial lesson, so that we can introduce ourselves and I can get to know their level, interests and needs. It's from there that I create the ensuing lessons.

I provide students with a solid grammar base, but also help them to understand the application and use of the language in everyday life. At the same time, I tailor the lesson to suit the students' main interests – such as grammar, speaking, pronunciation, writing or exam preparation. I teach students of different levels, from beginners to advanced.

Although I love teaching in-person, I have adapted myself to teaching online as well. I have also completed a Teaching English Online course offered by Cambridge University. I have to admit that it's a really effective method, plus you meet people from all over the world!

Having lived abroad for several years I know that learning a foreign language requires time, but it's also fun. By speaking in it we can express hidden parts of ourselves – it's a bit like acting!

You can also assimilate the culture from which the language evolves. It's interesting to see how we can change and develop!

My aim is to transmit to students the idea that nothing is impossible. Learning a language is challenging, but entirely achievable if you keep in mind that it's a journey made of small steps.

What is important is to establish those small objectives every day, and reach them with calm determination.

Like a tracker counts the steps that you walk, put on your “count-words tracker” and you'll be surprised at how much you have learned by the end of the day!

I hold a bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Germanic Studies obtained at the University of Yaoundé 1 .I also hold a DIPES II (Secondary Teacher Diploma) ) in German obtained at the Higher Teacher Training College of Yaounde. I also hold two French Teaching Certificates. Moreover, I was trained as professional translator in ASTI (Advanced School of Translators and Interpreters) at the University of Buea and my language combinations are English to French and German to French. Since 2009, I teach German as foreign language and French to high school students. I also give private lessons in French to foreigners especially English or German speakers. You speak English or German and want to learn and speak French confidently, so you have someone available to help you achieve your goals.
There are several teaching methods that I combine with three approaches. While teaching, I help the learner to use the language to perform tasks; this is the action-oriented- approach. Furthermore, I encourage the learner to express himself /herself a lot, especially orally, because the aim is to learn the language and to use it in a specific communicative situation. This is the communicative approach. Finally, I like the cultural approach. I help the learner to discover cultural elements, since language and cultures are linked.
I create learning materials according to the needs of the students. So I use podcasts, pdf files, authentic documents, images...that I get online from various sites.

Hello everybody. I am a native Turkish speaker. I growed up in Istanbul. Also I am a Turkish Language and Literature teacher/academic with 12 years of experience. I have a BA and MA degree. Now I am writing my doctoral dissertation. It's about 'Turkish Novels'.

I have 6 years experience in teaching Turkish to foreigners. Also I have a "Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language Certicate". Now I am a teaching assistant in a university in Turkey.

Teaching is my passion. I motivate my students very well. I give them homeworks and follow their progress. My lessons are cheerful. My students usually say they feel relax in my lessons.

I have written a master thesis, two books and now I've been writing my PhD thesis. Turkish literature is my profession. When you made a lot of progress we will read and discuss on Turkish literary. I am a huge fan of Dostoyevksi. I think he is the best author off all times. My favourites from Turkish literary are Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar and İhsan Oktay Anar. Maybe we will be discussing their writings one day, who knows :)
I am a patient and cheerful teacher. Because I really love my job. I believe that I'm making language learning enjoyable and easy.

I gave lessons to so many adults. They were from several countries. I can understand my students' needs and organize the lessons according to my students' interests, wishes and their goals. Because I know that: everybody has not same reasons for learning Turkish.
Also I've studied with 12-18 aged teens for two years. I know their needs and I am good at getting along teenagers :)

I know that reality: every student is not same, so I schedule my lessons to each students' individual needs. I know that how a lesson goes more cheerful and educational. I'm using whiteboard in the lessons. (It's essential to explain grammatical points.) Also I am using a lesson book, pictures, flashcards, videos, recordings and and etc. I give homeworks to my students. I'm following my students' progresses.
