Hi everybody, my name is Tra My, I have been living in Barcelona for 5 years. I speak Spanish, English, Vietnamese, a little Portuguese and... Chinese. I have 4-year experience of teaching Vietnamese language to foreigners. However, I think language is not enough. If you would like to travel, study, work, live in Vietnam, or just look for a Vietnamese partner, you need to know more about Vietnamese culture. Additionally, I was working as a lawyer in Vietnam, so I can advise you on how to start a business in Vietnam and obtain residency permits. We will talk together about it in my classes. I will accompany you from knowing nothing about Vietnam until you can negotiate the price with the Vietnamese people :) I look forward to seeing you in my classes! Read more
I am a local Hong Konger. Cantonese and traditional Chinese is my native language. I am living and studying in Taiwan now. Before that, I have... been teaching Chinese in Vietnamese for 2 years. That's why I can speak both 3 languages. I will focus on the pronunication, grammar and oral skills. For exmaples, most of foreigners feel difficult on the tones. I will give you some tips such as read the word with the music sheet. For oral skill, I will tell you when should you use the sentence rather than just read that and without any background information. For example, in English, we will say "May I have a bill". In Cantonese, it should be "excuse me, pay the bill", "'唔該,埋單 m4 goi1, maai4 daan" In Mandarin, it should be " hello, buy the bill" 你好,买单(買單) nǐhǎo,mǎidān“ . Sometimes in Taiwan, people use another words 结账(結帳) jiézhànɡ. In Vietnamese, you just need to say "em ơi, tính tiền" (hey, pay money) Read more

Hello everyone, I am Giulia and I am Italian.
All of my education has been gravitating towards languages, not only because of my strong desire to communicate effortlessly with people from other countries and getting to know more about their cultures, but also for my interest towards the structure of every language itself. Since the beginning of my high school years I have been studying and absorbing grammar and literature of Ancient Greek and Latin. This allowed me to improve my grammar basis and made my passion for it grow stronger. Meanwhile, I was carrying out the study of English, French and Spanish, on my own.
Later on, those languages have been the center of my studies at the University of Turin. After graduating in 2016 in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation, I decided to move to Boston, United States, in order to experience what speaking another language really means and to know more about a new culture. During my stay, not only had I the possibility to reach an advanced level of English, but I also improved my Spanish and, to a lower extent, my French, having the possibility of practicing them daily. In August 2017, I moved to Spain, where I attended a Masters in Intercultural Communication, Translation and Interpreting in Public Services offered by the University of Alcalá (Madrid).
Throughout my education I had the possibility to deepen my knowledge of the mentioned languages, to learn how to translate and interpret and I had the chance to learn more about linguistics as well. I am now fully fluent in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.
I am a translator at core and I have been a translator intern for CIDA’ archives in Alcalá de Henares, in Spain, using different language combinations. In 2018, I moved to Portugal, where I have been working for Accenture as a Business Analyst. Meanwhile, I have been translating for YOKO Translate and for WonderWords and I have been working as a translator for private clients. I have also been teaching English for 8Belts, a Spanish company which base its courses on the e-learning. Moreover, I have autonomous students who mainly want to learn Italian, English or Spanish.
I learnt myself four languages my own way, giving importance to the grammar, but focussing also on other aspects which are usually a bit underrated, such as vocabulary and listening. I have myself created games and teaching strategies to help my students get better results, although the method is adaptable to every specific situation.
For teaching, I use some manuals depending on the level of the student, but also personal material I have been collected during the years or created. My method is a mix of standard and original learning strategies and I hope you'll have the chance to join my course and take advantage of them.
I hope my skills, motivation and commitment make me the right teacher for you.
If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to hearing back from you. Thank you for your time and thoughtful consideration.
Best Regards,
Giulia Genovese

Hello =)
My name is Karolin and since the beginning of 2017, while I was still living in Chile, I've been giving online classes. I really enjoy my work and it gives me the privilage to get to know people from all around the world, which is amazing.
Both in English and in German, I teach classes for beginners and advanced students. I speak Spanish fluently, but as I lived in Chile for around 5 years, both my pronounciation and my choice of words are influenced by that. I learned and teach the european Spanish but only for beginners (A1/A2). But if you don't mind the chilenean influence, I do teach to a higher level as well.
If you'd like to get to know me and my teaching methods, just contact me and we will do a free trial lesson (please do NOT by a lesson before the trial lesson, not every teacher is good for every student).

Hi, welcome to my profile!
My name is Alessia and I currently live in Italy. I spent a few years in the United States where I deepened my knowledge of English and American dialects. I am currently specializing in Spanish and German. Over the years, I have given private lessons in Italian, English, Spanish, and Japanese, with Japanese being the most requested at the moment. Regarding Japanese, I had the opportunity to teach the language at an American college with a native Japanese teacher, applying the method that they use to learn their own language. I will help you in a simple way; conversation is really important for learning a language, and a good method is even more fundamental. No days spent on textbooks are needed; consistency and fun during lessons are the most important parts of learning. You will see results right away! I am patient, flexible, and will adapt in every way to your personal needs. I look forward to seeing you on my profile for a trial lesson and discovering an easy and fun method to learn a language as soon as possible.

Hi, my name is Elisa, I have a degree in languages and I teach Italian as a foreign language. Italian is my native language. I also speak English, French and German (this could be very helpful to understand us, in case you don’t speak a single word in Italian). I know what it means to learn a foreign language and what works to learn it.
My lessons are customised to fit your personal needs: probably you need to learn Italian as a beginner, or you need to improve your knowledge: speaking practice, or grammar corrections.
I love teaching, just book your lessons with me and I will help you to learn Italian in a easy and efficient way.

Why should you choose me? Take a look at what people say who have taken online classes with me.
Book lessons with me and
- prepare Dutch exams "Basisinburgering A1" and "Inburgeringsexamen A2". Your full commitment and my energetic, professional approach are the winning combination to help you succeed at once!
- learn Dutch because you live in the Netherlands (or are planning to move there) and still don’t speak the language properly or haven’t started yet. You’ll enjoy your environment more!
- learn Italian for work or because you will move to this beautiful country or simply because you just love it. Let me help you experience the language!
- study Spanish for pleasure, work or because you have to prepare an exam for school and you need to get confident to perform optimally
- get confident in useful daily conversations, meetings at work, exams, and presentations
- overcome the fear of failure; if you have learning problems, feel shy or need a boost of energy you’ll get confident enough to achieve your goals
My lessons are based on conversations. My method is to help you practice the language from the very beginning in spontaneous and direct conversations, using often role plays.
With books, articles, songs, and other interesting and stimulating material I will encourage conversation, develop grammar in a simpler way, and improve pronunciation.
Learning a foreign language is not a matter of doing much effort, but rather of being consistent, enjoying the lessons and allowing your intuition to work with you. You will book immediate results while having fun!
I've been teaching Dutch, Spanish and Italian for many years, in The Netherlands, for private institutes, for the integration of foreigners into society (Inburgering), and online from Italy, where I currently live.
Contact me for a free trial and let me know how I can help you.
CANCELATION POLICY
If you cancel a reservation please do it at least 24 hours before the session

As a graduate of the Catholic University of Leuven in language and literature and with my teacher training degree, I can help you unravel our Dutch language. Whether you have questions about sentence parsing, literature, spelling or whatever: together we keep looking until you get it all!
During class, and therefore also with you, I like an open, interactive learning environment: we discover the theory together, and then put it into practice, preferably in the most fun way possible.
We do that with all kinds of exercises of every kind. This way we always turn it into a great lesson!

Hello, my name is Corinne and I am a qualified ESL English teacher from England. I have been teaching in classrooms and online for over 3 years and I have many satisfied students.
My lessons are student-centred and usually take place on Skype. I treat every student as an individual and tailor my lessons to meet their goals. I use a variety of text books and free online resources including exercises, articles and videos. I usually give out a little homework at the end of each lesson to reinforce what we have done together.
In your first lesson, we will discuss your needs and check your current level. From this, we can decide what sort of lessons will suit you the best. Perhaps you struggle with grammar and sentence structure? Perhaps you need to practice English for a specific purpose, like understanding lectures, making phone calls at work, or travelling? Or perhaps you need a structured course so that you can learn English step by step?
Whatever you need, I’m here to help. I see it as my job to make you feel safe, build your confidence and make your lessons enjoyable. I look forward to hearing from you and to helping you on your path to speaking better English. Book your first lesson now and let’s get started.

Finally, Corinne makes recommendations for books, movies, and series which are a good fit for my current level.

Hello! My name is Rhuana and I'm from Recife, Brazil.
I have a Languages degree (Portuguese and French) from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco and I did a postgraduate course in Applied Linguistics to Portuguese Language Teaching in the FAFIRE. I also had the opportunity to study Didactics for Languages for six months in the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, in Paris.
Since 2011, I work as a teacher of Portuguese (as first and foreign language) and French and I’ve had experiences in schools, language courses, online lessons… So I have a large experience teaching both of them and I had the opportunity to teach students with different levels, profiles and goals. My lessons are dynamic, fun and prepared according to the student's objective and interests. Also, I believe that sociocultural aspects are extremely important in the process of learning a language, since it is, above all, social. Therefore, these aspects will be always present in our lessons.
I love literature, cinema, TV series, music… I also love to travel, to know new cultures, new languages…
Portuguese is my first language, but I also speak French, English and a bit of Spanish.
If you want to learn Brazilian Portuguese, to improve your skills in this language or if you are interested in Brazilian culture, I can help you.
But if you are looking for a French teacher, I am also prepared to help you achieve your goals.
I hope to meet you soon!
