I am a local Hong Konger. Cantonese and traditional Chinese is my native language. I am living and studying in Taiwan now. Before that, I have... been teaching Chinese in Vietnamese for 2 years. That's why I can speak both 3 languages. I will focus on the pronunication, grammar and oral skills. For exmaples, most of foreigners feel difficult on the tones. I will give you some tips such as read the word with the music sheet. For oral skill, I will tell you when should you use the sentence rather than just read that and without any background information. For example, in English, we will say "May I have a bill". In Cantonese, it should be "excuse me, pay the bill", "'唔該，埋單 m4 goi1, maai4 daan" In Mandarin, it should be " hello, buy the bill" 你好，买单(買單) nǐhǎo，mǎidān“ . Tove is amazing! I started on Duolingo 1.5 years ago and I could not start a normal conversation. Tove helped me with the pronunciation, with grammar, with the Danish culture, she gave me many children's adventures to read (I like them) and, suddenly, I spoke Danish after 12 Danish lessons! I now work in Denmark and everyone says my Danish (pronunciation / grammar / vocabulary) is very good. Sa Tove is my 'language angel'. There is a clear structure in each lesson: first we talk about something, then we do some grammar exercises and read a little. She also almost always does a listening exercise with new words from the last lesson and the topic is often about my life. Very convenient! She is always interested in you and what you experience. She can also well understand what you mean if you can not find the right expression, so there is never "a dead moment" in the lesson. It was a nice experience! I can recommend Tove to anyone who wants to practice Danish!

Recently, the health situation has prompted me to leave my home country and start a professional retraining.
