I was born in İstanbul and I lived there. I hold a bachelor degree in cinema and television at İstanbul Şehir University. During my university years, my stories have been published in major Turkish literary magazines. After my graduation I have been specializing in children's book illustration and literature. I founded children's book publishing house in Turkey. The name is Yıldız Tozu Publishing and my books were released. I worked as an editor-in-chief in the company. I was finding books in the world and I was publishing them in Turkish. I am practically and professionally working on Turkish language and literature. Later on, I moved France to continue my education and works about literature and art. Currently, I am learning french.

I have experience in teaching Turkish in years. Furthermore, I speak English very well (TOEFL B2) and French (B1) it is advantage for students who are beginners.

Here my methodology when I teach Turkish:

I will use the grammar books and my presentations, time to time.

For speaking practice: illustrations, daily conversations
For listening practice: Turkish songs, movies, series
For reading practice: news and articles about Turkey (for advance students), stories, picture books (for intermediate students), texts from language books (for beginner and intermediate students.)

If students need to focus specific area like writing etc. I am designing my class according to that.

In addition, it is because I am using broad material about Turkish media, you will be familiar the culture and sociology of Turkey.

I like to do lesson in creative and in an organized way; therefore, I believe you will learn fast and you will enjoy learning Turkish with me!

My name is Cassiano. I'm from Brazil, more precisely from Rio de Janeiro. In my country, I was a biology and science teacher. I am currently a Masters student at the University of Porto and I have lived in Germany for 7 years where I learned the German language. I am a language lecturer at the Fulda University of Applied Sciences. I teach Portuguese as a foreign language there. Here we not only learn Portuguese with books and grammar, but also get to know Brazil and Portugal with all their culture, art and music.

EDUCATION

I have been teaching online the Italian language for more than a year. Thanks to this experience, I have realized three things are particularly important to me: structure, flexibility and relationship! It is important to create a well-structured lesson and, at the same time, tailored to the needs of the student. Lastly, it is essential to create a calm and fun environment where the student can feel comfortable and learn while having fun! I have spent a lot of time teaching in Canada and this allows me to teach in both Italian and English. I also have a degree in Psychology and can help anyone who wants to learn more about this subject or even just the academic field in general!

TEACHING METHODS

Even though I propose a plan, the lesson is finally chosen together with the student! Generally speaking, for those who are at an INTERMEDIATE LEVEL, I propose to divide the lessons into two parts:

Part 1 = Conversation / correction of errors
Part 2 = Grammar / correction of homework

For those who are at an ADVANCED LEVEL I propose to bring a conversation topic (an article, a book, a TV series, etc.) that the student wants to talk about. I will correct your mistakes through a shared Google Document.

As mentioned before, one of my cardinal principles is FLEXIBILITY, so I'm also open to students who just want to correct homework, talk, focus only on grammar.... The lesson must be decided TOGETHER!

Learning Spanish is no big deal now, it´s a huge accomplishment. I´m here to help you to learn this marvelous language as easy as possible. I count on a 10 years’ experience of teaching Spanish. Therefore, for whatever reason – travel, apply to university, DELE exams, speaking to family or friends, work, or love- I will guide you along the way, from beginner to advanced.
First of all, I need to know your goal because it would let me design a plan especially for you to help you achieve it. Generally, we will follow the communicative approach. We don’t just dive right into verb tenses or lists of vocabulary words. Instead, I prefer to teach you the ins-and-outs of the Spanish language in a more different way! So, we will be using a variety of resources such as movies, songs, essays, stories, news and interviews, etc.
If you want to know more about me, I should say I´m studying Advanced Hispanic Studies for a PHD degree at the University of Valencia. I hold a master´s degree in General Linguistics and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language. As a teacher, I’ve held online classes, face to face classes and several courses at different institutes and the University of Applied Science and Technology in my country of origin, Iran.

My name is Katerina, I’m a native Russian speaker and a foreign language teacher from St Petersburg, Russia. I’ve always been addicted to learning foreign languages, be it English, German, Spanish, Turkish or Arabic, so turning my passion into my job was just a matter of time. I have a Master’s degree in linguistics which taught me to understand the way the mechanism of a language works and thus to help my students see the logics behind the grammar rules. Being a constant language learner enables me to see the process from both sides and to predict the difficulties my students might face.
