Declension of adjectives of nationalities
Adjectives have to be declined according to the gender and number of the noun they refer to.
Almost all nationalities follow the following declension rules:

Qualche anno fa sono andato in Erasmus nel Regno Unito, e lì ho conosciuto dei ragazzi spagnoli, francesi, giapponesi e russi.
(A few years ago I went on Erasmus in Great Britain and there I met some Spanish, French, Japanese and Russian guys.)
Il mio migliore amico si chiama Paulo, ed è brasiliano. Lui viene dall'America del Sud, ma adesso è negli Stati Uniti per lavoro.
(My best friend is called Paulo, he's Brazilian. He comes from south America, but now he is in the United States for work purposes.)
