Dialogue
Sara: Oggi voglio fare shopping. Devo comprare un e un paio di per l'inverno.
(Today I want to go shopping. I have to buy a sweater and a pair of jeans for the winter.)
Chiara: Iniziamo! Ti piace questo rosso?
(Let's start! Do you like this red sweater?)
Sara: Sì, molto! Vado nel a provarlo.
(Yes, a lot! I'll go in the fitting room to try it on.)
Chiara: Va bene! Intanto io cerco un bel paio di jeans. Come ti il maglione?
(Ok! In the meantime, I'll look for a pair of jeans. How does the sweater fit you?)
Sara: E' un po' ...mi serve una S.
(It's a bit baggy...I need an S.)
Chiara: Vado a prenderla. Vuoi questi jeans?
(I'll go and take it. Do you want to try these jeans on?)
Sara: Mi sembrano stretti! Non riesco ad abbottonarli.E sono anche !
(They look tight! I can't close them. And they are also out of fashion!)
Chiara: Lascia perdere i jeans e il maglione! Ho appena visto un rosso bellissimo! E anche una che si abbina perfettamente. Devi comprarli assolutamente!
(Let go of those jeans and sweater! I've just seen a beautiful red dress! And also a purse that matches perfectly. You absolutely have to get them both!)
Short story
Maria farà presto una breve vacanza al mare. Ora sta preparando la valigia.
(Maria will soon go on a short vacation at the sea. Now she's preparing her luggage.)
Per andare in spiaggia, porta con sè degli nere e due costumi: un blu e un intero rosso.
(To go the beach, she's taking with her flip flops and two bathing suits: a blue bikini and a red swimming suit.)

I am a teacher of Italian to Speakers of Other Languages with many years of experience in teaching in public and private schools. I have taught... Italian to speakers of other languages in schools, in migratory contexts and in vocational training at all levels (from pre A1 to C2 ). I have gained experience as a teacher with Arabic-speaking, Slavic-speaking, German-speaking, French-speaking, Spanish-speaking, Sinophone, Lusophone and Anglophone students, and have taught literacy courses for asylum seekers and refugees. I did a training internship as a lecturer in Italian at the Department of Romance at the University of Salzburg. I completed my training by teaching Italian to learners with special educational needs. Moreover, I am a CILS, CELI and PLIDA examiner for the speaking part. I also speak German, English and French and I successfully completed my Celta in October 2020. My lessons focus mainly on two aspects: oral and written production and the study of grammar, with particular attention to phonetic and phonology.
