Hi, Mi name is Paul. I'm a certified (TEFL, ELE) teacher with over 10 years of experience in language teaching. I am actually teaching business... clients and individuals. I always try to keep the classes informal and relaxed. It's important that the students like the class, and that they feel comfortable. That results in progress, and that's exactly what we want. The focus is on conversation (so pronunciation!) and understanding but also reading and writing are important to improve active vocabulary. Now grammar is also important to understand the structure of a language, but I only touch grammar when needed, so that depends a lot on the level (from A1 to C2). I'm offering informal Dutch and English lessons based on conversation and will conduct my lessons for as much as possible in the target language.
I use text, weblinks to tv shows to get us talking and am a fan of the TPRS method.
There's a lot of information on that method online. Basically it's getting to know the structure Dutch and English through simple conversation. (questions about 1 or several sentences on any topic)
I have some useful weblinks to tv shows in Dutch (with subtitles in Dutch) adjusted to your level and the shows are entertaining too. :-)
We can discuss the shows preferably in the target language of course.
I can explain some grammar too if needed and have articles and books ready to read from. This again will be adjusted to your proficiency. But of course if you'd like to focus on a topic which has your interest that is possible as well. This makes it more personal and more fun.
I've been teaching for about a year now on another platform to students from all over the world and really enjoy having the experience again as I used to be a vocal coach back in the days when I attended conservatory in the Netherlands.

Less is knowledgeable about teaching. He was positive and encouraging. During the lessons we followed a good routine. Reading aloud and accent corrections. Then review of homework followed by a TPRS exercise. He was always well prepared and punctual. I highly recommend him.

Hi, my name is Dita and I am happy to teach you! I am a professional teacher of Italian and Czech language for foreigners. My mother tongue is Czech and I offer language lessons for all levels. I have been working online as well as offline for many years and currently teach adults both individually and in groups. I also collaborate with various international companies. In the Czech Republic, I studied Italian philology, language and culture at university. I lived 10 years in Italy and even now I go there very often, I have family there. I know the language on the street, but also the academic language.
My lessons are professional, friendly, fun, I always adapt the style and time of teaching to the needs of the student. I prefer students who want to see the result and are willing to work on it regularly, because the student's result is also very important to me. I use the book Česky krok za krokem and several Italian books. In addition to this, I use many digital materials to make the lesson interesting.
For students who have little time and want to use their time effectively, I do WhatsApp lessons, where we talk 2-3 times a week for 15 minutes. You can choose the form of communication you prefer (message, call or voice recording) and you always receive feedback.
I also do asynchronous teaching where you study when and where you want. I send you the teaching material with a video, text and exercises and you have a week to do it. Of course you get feedback.

I am learning Czech with Dita since a few weeks and I willingly recommend her. She has very good communication skills and she makes sure that the lessons are motivating. The lessons are a good mix of dialogues, reading and exercises. Of course there is also some grammar, but limited to what is needed, never too long.

I was given a traditional African name by a student group in South Africa and they named me Noluthandu which means “a person who likes people.” This was a great honor for me. My name is Brenda and I am born in the Netherlands. At the moment I live in Nijmegen, the oldest city of the Netherlands. A lot of foreign students live here because it is a university city.
I have been interested in languages from an early age. That is why I have learned English, German, French and Spanish. But in my area I am mainly known for my excellent Dutch language skills and my eye for spelling and grammar.
Other things that interest me are cooking and baking and being creative. As a volunteer I have given guided tours and I have done workshops in both English and Dutch. I also love walking in nature or enjoying the beach and the sea!
I am currently learning Turkish, so I fully understand what you are experiencing as a language student. That’s why I am very patient. We practice as much as what you need. We can focus on every aspect of the language. When you want to learn from a book we can use your material or I will advise you which book you can purchase.
As a beginner you start with the basics, the alphabet and some basic words. We extend this so that you can start simple conversations in situations of everyday life and that you become an advanced!
