I am a CELTA certified Teacher of English and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. I have a vast experience teaching General English, preparation for Cambridge exams-, pronunciation, speaking and developing writing skills. I have been teaching for over 18 years to students of different age ranges (young learners and adults at universities, middle and high school and academies.
What I love most about teaching is that I get to help students and make them see how beautiful this language is and how they can make it useful for their academic and professional lives. About me

My name is Debi and I’m from Germany. I am an A1 to C2 level German teacher and have 5 years of teaching experience.

My teaching style is a mix of direct learning and task-based learning.

This can be done as homework or during the lessons, if there is still some time left for it.

Hello everyone! My name is Matias Pizarro, but you can call me Matt. I am 30 years old, and I am from Argentina.

At first, teaching online was a challenge, not for the knowledge, the didactic or the way to get to students, but for the whole new set of resources at my disposal and how to use them effectively. The variety of tricks with the camera, magic, puppets, the limit was my imagination; that feeling was really overwhelming. But, as I said at first, I took this as a challenge, a new way of expanding my inner resourses and finally, widening my understanding about teaching.

Working with kids was the most important and significant choice in my professional career as a teacher, because I discovered the real meaning of being an educator. After years teaching online, I can say that the computer screen is not a limitation. My name is Yaledis. I am a Petroleum Engineer. I am from Colombia but I am living in Hungary now. I have experience creating pedagogical projects that allow daily interactions, interactive and playful practices that facilitate the learning of a second language. Likewise, I have helped high school students prepare for the ICFES state exam, a standardized test applied to students who are in the last year of high school in Colombia in order to give them official results that allow them to access higher education, for which I have experience teaching students with specific objectives.

Most of my classes are given in Spanish, so you can start thinking in Spanish faster, reducing the need to translate from your native language. I can speak in English if it is absolutely necessary.

I make explanations of grammar and vocabulary in communicative contexts, in this way you can begin to integrate what you have learned in different dialogues. I will create different situations that can arise when communicating, for example, ordering food in a restaurant, going shopping, asking for directions to get to a place, etc.

My classes follow a structural approach that will allow you to understand the easiest grammar rules first and then the more complicated ones. For this, I use the curriculum designed by the Miguel de Cervantes Institute. I use role-plays, games, readings, videos, audios, movies, articles, and mind maps

My lessons are student-centered, where I will guide the student and they will be doing most of the talking. I usually ask a lot of questions so that you can practice your speaking. I am an energetic and positive teacher and like to have fun with my students. I believe in positive reinforcement and letting the student know it is okay to make mistakes.
