Hello! My name is Carmine. I was born and raised in The USA since 1962. My native tongue and accent is from Brooklyn, New York. I recently moved to Italy.
I teach here full-time and having so much fun meeting interesting and warm-hearted human beings. My interests are in bowling, Bible studies, aquariums, horses, house pets and playing word games such as Scrabble. I am TESOL/ TEFL Certified. With me you will learn what you want to learn related to the English language. I have been teaching many since ,1980. In my experience, I've observed that people want to learn for many reasons. I've come across various ones such as: just for fun, to watch movies, videos, read books, vacations or conversing with new family members and neighbors; for work related purposes and many other personal reasons. So, according to your goals, requests and needs you will benefit from my 40 years of experience. My goal is that you are excited, enthusiastic and confident that you chose me as your teacher as you are enjoying yourself as you learning to speak and understand the English language. The more you share about yourself the better our time together will be relaxing, fruitful and pleasurable.

During your initial contact we will talk. You may ask me questions and share whatever you want about yourself, it will all be awesome and so much fun. I've traveled for many years in the Navy and always enjoyed meeting and engaging with the native folks. With dedicated fun, repetition, pronouncing words accurately, speaking phrases and understanding basic English grammar, you will be speaking English quickly and pleased with yourself too.

I am Maria. I am a teacher of modern and ancient Greek with 20 years experience. I love teaching people from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds and I strongly believe in online language teaching as a very efficient method of learning. I hold a BSc in History and Archeology and a MA in teaching Modern Greek as a foreign language, both from the University of Athens. I have a strong experience as Exams Assessor on State Exams for the «Certificate of Attainment in Greek». I am currently teaching Modern Greek as a foreign language online at Avenues, The World School in New York, as well as to foreigners living in Athens, such as Embassies members and their families.

In my courses, I emphasize the importance of communication and the practical uses of language. I consider therefore communication as the most suitable approach, because it gives a lot of emphasis on realistic situations making the learner aware of how the language actually works (that does not mean that I don't give the same importance to the grammar rules and the syntax, especially to the advanced levels).

I have a deep appreciation of different learning styles and I am able to apply the corresponding teaching method to keep my students motivated and progressing at the right pace for them.

Hello! My name is Ainhoa, I am Spanish and I live in Bilbao, a city in the north of Spain. I love languages ​​and learning about new cultures, that is why I decided to teach Spanish. I find it very gratifying to see the students improve.

I am patient and cheerful, and I strive to create a comfortable environment where students are not afraid to make mistakes. I am positive and I firmly believe that anyone with effort, perseverance and correct accompaniment can improve.

I am an online Spanish teacher certified by ELE International and I have been teaching Spanish since 2019. In 2020 I formalized my business and became freelance.

In these years, I have studied Spanish grammar thoroughly and I have tried many teaching methods that were taught to me in my training, which has led me to create my own method with what I have seen has given better results. I use spaced repetition, create projects, do real-life rollplays, and have the student come to the correct conclusion on their own using questions. For all this, we will use manuals that will guide your learning, the campus diffusion books.

I started working as an Arabic teacher more than 10 years ago. During this time I have taught students from various countries and of different ages. They are learning Arabic for several reasons such as conversation, politics, Islam and literature. We have enjoyed learning with photos, videos, music and games to develop the different skills like speaking, listening, reading and writing. I studied two diplomas in teaching Arabic to foreigners at Cairo University and a course at the American University in Cairo and currently I am studying masters in the same field.
