My name is Yaledis. I am a Petroleum Engineer. I am from Colombia but I am living in Hungary now. Living in another country has given me an appreciation for other cultures and deepened my understanding of the Spanish language by seeing it from a new perspective. I have experience creating pedagogical projects that allow daily interactions, interactive and playful practices that facilitate the learning of a second language. Likewise, I have helped high school students prepare for the ICFES state exam, a standardized test applied to students who are in the last year of high school in Colombia in order to give them official results that allow them to access higher education, for which I have experience teaching students with specific objectives.

Most of my classes are given in Spanish, so you can start thinking in Spanish faster, reducing the need to translate from your native language. I can speak in English if it is absolutely necessary.

I make explanations of grammar and vocabulary in communicative contexts, in this way you can begin to integrate what you have learned in different dialogues. I will create different situations that can arise when communicating, for example, ordering food in a restaurant, going shopping, asking for directions to get to a place, etc.

My classes follow a structural approach that will allow you to understand the easiest grammar rules first and then the more complicated ones. For this, I use the curriculum designed by the Miguel de Cervantes Institute. I use role-plays, games, readings, videos, audios, movies, articles, and mind maps

My lessons are student-centered, where I will guide the student and they will be doing most of the talking. I usually ask a lot of questions so that you can practice your speaking. My name is Laia, and I am an infant and primary school teacher, specialized in additional languages. This year I have finished my second degree in Early Childhood Education. Previously, I had completed my degree in Primary Education in English. This last year I have combined my studies with a job in the reception classroom of a school. My main aim was to teach newly arrived pupils the official languages of my country and helping them to adapt to their new environment.

In addition, I have been an English teacher and monitor with students of different ages. I can adapt to my students, looking for the best way to individualize their learning.

Furthermore, I did the 120 hours course with TEFL this summer as I decided to delve more deeply into teaching English as a foreign language to help my students in a better way.
