I am a PhD holder in German studies from the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany, and I have been teaching German and the subjects related... to German language, culture and literature for more than 20 years. At the same time, I led intensive German courses (DaF) for students who started with German from scratch and needed to be prepared for their studies in Germany. I started teaching during my studies at university. Most of the jobs I was given back then involved working with teenagers and adults. It was a challenge for me but I loved it! Later on, I spent 16 years in Southeast Asia, where I worked at various universities and gained enormous experience in working with multiethnic and multicultural groups. Apart from that, I also had the opportunity to participate in the development of study programs. In addition to German, I communicate in English, Czech, Russian and I speak a tiny bit of Malay. We all are different learners and we shall find the most suitable way for ourselves! At the beginning of my teaching career, I considered being a non-native German speaker as my weakness. However, growing experience in teaching and co-working with German mother tongue speakers, I realized that it is actually my strength. I am a qualified teacher. I studied at the State Language School in Slovakia and I passed the General State Examination in English Language (C1-C2 level). I gained a Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD.) in Social Work and completed an Additional Pedagogical Education. As a PhD student, I gained experience in teaching. I´ve more than four-year experience in teaching. I enjoy teaching, working with people and speaking in English.
We can focus on whatever you wish to practise and I can take you through a structured course and I will supply you with all of the required materials. Lessons dependent on the student's needs - grammar, speaking, writing, reading or listening. I can help you with all aspects of Slovak.

Hi! I’m Yasmina, a professional German, English, Russian and Slovak teacher for adults and teenagers. I am fluent in 4 foreign languages and I have sucessfuly passed C2 level exams for English and German. I have a Masters degree in foreign languages and cultures from Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. During my studies I have done a couple of exchanges abroad (Germany, Belgium, Portugal, Italy, Qatar, Iceland, etc).
I have lived in 4 countries, therefore I know how challenging it may be - to learn and SPEAK foreign language afterwards. I’ve been teaching and learning languages for more than 8 years (3 years of teaching experience). I am absolutely sure, that your learning process starts, when you begin to speak. Therefore my lessons are mainly conversational, but you would need to do your homework at home :)

We are an Italian family residing in France for 3 months, we have two 10 year old children who have just started attending CM1. We asked Natalia to give the children two lessons a week to speed up their learning. We are super happy with the choice. Lithuanian language is one of the Baltic countries languages. Some people are travelling to Lithuania, some of them are working or studying over there. So it's really good to know how to say very simple words, as hello, how are you, good mornng, thank you, you're welcome, where, how and etc. It's necessary because the main language is Lithuanian in that country
I am lithuanian and was learning other languages. So I can understand you very well, how do you feel in foreign country without language. You want to say something, ask or express yourself, but you can't. I would like to teach you. I like helping people and I have almost 10 years experience in teaching with different age people from different countries and culturies. I think so, that we will spent very good time. Don't worry about nothing. The best thing is your desire. We have don't forget just be patiece. When we are sowing, we think about future, because in few months we can see results of our work. That helps us work little by little.
I would like to offer you lessons for beggners. In these lessons you will learn how to pronounce words, how to read. Also you will learn basic words and phrases and how to talk with another person in dialogue.

I knew a few words Lithuanian, so during our introduction Salomeja asked me several questions. A week later we started the first lection. Very professional and skilled this teacher, she learns you the basic Grammar (which you need to understand) and finally i know the meaning of some endings ;-) Not finished with lessons, so next year i will see my teacher again.
