I have 25 years of experience as an organist in a church. I teach choirs for children and adults and I have been a piano teacher. I feel that my experience in teaching choirs and pianostudents and playing music is very fruitful for the way that I teach Danish. I have followed an intensive online Dutch course and as a student I think it works out very well. You are making progress very fast, because you speak a lot, and the teacher can take your speaking level as your starting point. Hello, my name is Eva. I am from a beautiful country called Slovenia. I am a language teacher with more than 10 years of experience. I teach children and adults. My specialty is to adapt to the needs of each individual and thus achieve the maximum effect in the shortest possible time. I live in the south east of England with my wife and two teenage daughters. I studied Theatre Management at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and I am a TEFL certified English and Business English Teacher. I have had many years professional experience in both the media and education industries.

I have been teaching English online for the past 2 years and have accrued over 550 teaching hours on a part-time basis. My rating is consistently 9.96 out of 10 and I have been nominated as one of the Apps 'Best' teachers.

I have taught many age groups ranging from 6 to 40 years old. I have also assisted students with their CVs, IELTS practise, university personal statements and with their Bachelor and Masters essays. A number of students have had lessons with me throughout the past two years.

My main focus is to offer Business English classes to students looking for a level of English that suits their specific requirements. I draw up a 'Needs Analysis' with every new student which allows me to create tailored lessons to suit individual needs. I then devise a structured lesson plan so that students know exactly what they will be learning. I use a theory book and an excercise book for my lessons, versions vary according to your level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1). They're all published by Istanbul University and are called `Turkish For Foreigners`

I also use powerpoint presentations during my lessons. It makes it easier to understand the grammar rules.
My lessons are about grammar, listening, speaking and writing.

Lessons are interactive and fun as I believe a playful approach to learning a new language helps retaining information. Games and other devices such as cards will be be used during the lessons.

I was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I have been an educator in the Ann Arbor area since 2000. That is when I graduated from the University of Michigan. Later, I obtained a Master’s Degree in school counseling from Eastern Michigan University. In the years that followed, I taught English, theater, Spanish, and spent ten years as a high school counselor in Ann Arbor. Now, I live near Ann Arbor with my wife, daughter, son, and our dog, Pomzilla. We say he is part Husky, part Pomeranian, and part Godzilla! That's how we made his name.

I have lived in the US and Spain and have traveled to South America and Europe. Someday I would also love to visit Asia, Australia, and Africa. When I can, I love to go to baseball games in Detroit, Michigan. I would love to talk to you about your own travels! My teaching style is fun and I focus more on conversational English. I love to joke and have fun in lessons. I would also love to work with you on your writing.
