What our teachers offer
Private Lessons- German, English, Turkish
"Tell me and I Forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." - Benjamin Franklin
The quote above sums up very well what I am basically planning to do with my students during the lessons. I think learning by doing is fundamental because what you learn with pleasure and joy you will never forget. In my opinion, the function of education is to teach one to think intensively and critically about specific topics. You could teach a student many lessons a day, but if you manage to teach your students by creating curiosity they will probably continue the learning process on their own even without the help of any teacher.
So, if you want to learn English, German or Turkish with someone who will not entirely teach you on a theoretical level, don’t hesitate to hit me up! We will figure out together what's the best study method for you. Learning a new language is a lot of fun. You just need to find a way to combine knowledge and passion. :)
About me:
My name is Nilay and I'm 22 years old. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree at the University of Siegen in Germany. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature, culture, media and communication&media. I have completed my courses in literature, culture, media- which was also my major sub by the way- entirely in English.
However, I discovered my passion for communicating and interacting with people, especially teaching and at the same time learning new things myself, many years ago. I have taught students in different age groups and language levels privately. Personally, I was lucky enough to deepen my own knowledge in English both at school and in my studies, but mostly through the help of my tandem partners from countries like the US, Canada, Australia and UK. Just in case you wonder, I have a British accent.
Nevertheless, I was born and raised in Germany. So my first language was German. But since I’ve got family roots in Turkey, I was brought up bilingually. That’s why I have two native languages.
In case you want to get to know me or ask for more information, just press that contact button. I will reply as quick as possible! :)

Greetings my name is Hubeyb KÖSE. I spent 10 years of my childhood in Russia, I went to primary school in Russian National Education. I studied high school and university in Turkey. I am a graduate of Bant Abant İzzet Baysal University Turkish Language Teaching (2013). I am 28. I have a certificate for teaching Turkish to foreigners from Marmara University. I speak intermediate Russian, French, and English. I am still teaching Turkish to foreign children and foreign adults at a private Russian school in Istanbul.
The levels I teach:
A1
A2
B1
B2
C1
I teach the lessons through audio and video sources. My priority in classes is to be able to express themselves in a short time, even if it is wrong. The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (see CEFR), which is now accepted all over the world, says this. Instead of long and boring grammar lessons, I am primarily teaching communicative language acquisition and then teaching grammar.
Resources I have used:
-Yunus Emre Institute Seven climates (Main Source)
-Istanbul book
- Yunus Emre Enstitüsü I learn Turkish with pictures.
and resources in the learner's language, if necessary.

I am an English teacher from Liverpool in England. I have been teaching around the world in countries that include Indonesia, Malaysia, Belgium, Taiwan and Spain.
I now teach English and Geography in a secondary school in Liverpool but retain my passion for teaching EFL by doing online lessons. I am a lively, dynamic and well organised teacher, and I like to provide stimulating lessons where communication is the main goal.
I want to target my lessons so they give you, the student, exactly what you are looking for. My experience means I can give classes in conversation, all levels of English, academic or exam classes or Business English. I have learnt several languages myself and I have found that speaking is the best way to learn, so I employ the communicative method in teaching, but set homework assignments and give written feedback outside the lessons.
Book a free trial lesson and we can have a chat, find out about you and what your goals are in learning English. Hope to see you soon!

Native speaker from Paris with about 15 years of teaching experience. I’m well-travelled, and I’ve lived and worked in different parts of the world (Europe, Latin America, North America, Africa, Australia and a little bit in Asia).
I have a postgraduate degree (France) in Languages, Literature and Cultural Studies and I’m currently a freelance translator. I’ve previously worked at universities in France and abroad (South Africa/Australia) and have a solid experience in teaching (French Language, Literature, Philosophy, Cultural Studies, Creative Writing, etc.), designing courses, evaluating and guiding students, preparing students for exams/job interviews/professional presentations, managing a Language and Literature department at the university, presenting papers at academic conferences worldwide, publishing, translating and journalism. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach people with different profiles and from various backgrounds: international professionals, university students, beginner translators and teachers, high school students, retirees, travellers, francophiles, children (help with homework), etc.
Being an open-minded, flexible and patient teacher, I enjoy helping others to discover their potential and to explore it. Adapting myself to my students' needs, pace and objectives is essential for me, and designing the best way to work with each student is very stimulating and rewarding.
After the initial introductory lesson, I will design customised lesson plans that will evolve as you progress. We can also, at any time during the programme, change our working method if you wish to do so. I remain very flexible in that regard.
The learning materials will be varied, and we will choose together the themes and aspects of French language to be covered, in line with your objectives. In any case, I am very attentive in general, so please don't hesitate to make any suggestions.
Regardless of your level and objectives, I'm sure that we can find the best way possible to share and enjoy this French language adventure together.

(I ONLY OFFER GROUP CLASSES ON HERE :) )
Hello, my name is Rebecca Rygaard.
Recently graduated as a teacher of Danish and English for the primary and lower secondary schools in Denmark, according to the Bachelor's Degree Program in Education, from University College Copenhagen.
I am born and raised in Denmark, and am a native speaker of Danish.
In my teaching I use a communicative approach, focused on having us communicate with each other and produce language to learn it. We will learn both from "input" (what we hear, read) and "output" (what we say, write).
This communicative approach will be focused on "real life" and authentic situations - that means that I'll actually base the teaching on my students lives. I.e. we could be talking about what has brought you to want to learn Danish. There will be authentic language only in this class - not language about hypothetical situations, that you might not ever need.
As part of this method, we'll be using task-based learning - you'll often learn the language through "tasks" in my class, with the point that you'll have to use communication, in cooperation with your peers (or me) to solve them. It's a lot of fun, I guarantee.
You will also be learning about the Danish culture, as I believe culture and language go together, and one cannot be understood without the other (I very much look forward to introducing you to Danish customs, traditions and food).
I'll be focused on your progress, rather your 'errors', as I don't believe in teaching a language by focusing on student's "mistakes", but on their potential. There is an "interlanguage" that is the language that emerge in between your original language, and the language you're trying to learn. And it is only normal that this language is a bit of a mix, that is ever-evolving.
With me, you'll also have the important advantage that I am both a teacher of English and Danish, and therefore know how the languages correlate.
I've learned about all of these aspects "the communicative approach", "task-based learning", "cultural studies" and "interlanguage" and a "functional view on language learning", as a part of my education, and I know they are all a part of recent research in the field.
I have prepared a lesson plan for beginners - which can both be used for group- and single lessons. But I can also create a specifically crafted lesson plan just for you and your needs/level, or if you already know Danish, but just want to improve it.
I hope we meet, and look forward to helping you learn some Danish :)
Rebecca

I'm a qualified English teacher with years of experience. I am not the cheapest, but (without false modesty) probably one of the best.
I'm going to engage you in communication and practise all the language skills. I use a whole variety of audio, video and reading materials.
I'm looking to work with people who are motivated and passionate about speaking English with a focus on particular aspects of the language.
As I don't speak fluent German, you will not be exposed to long and boring explanations in the language that you already speak well.
My priorities are: focus on your needs and on your progress as well as making it a fun and enjoyable experience.
I look forward to working with you.

Hello! I am an English and Spanish teacher and a language lover.
At university I studied translation and interpreting in Spanish, English, Russian and French and have been a language teacher since 2013, which is something I love.
I have lived in France and have British and Spanish family, so speaking several languages is something I do and enjoy every day. I love conversation, grammar, studying new vocabulary and learning about the differences between cultures in order to learn from them.
I have taught privately, in academies, in primary schools and high schools and in companies, so I have experience in many areas and with all ages and levels.
I have prepared students for official Cambridge, Trinity London and Aptis exams, but I have also helped to prepare for exams specific to some university degrees.
I have also prepared students to take the Spanish DELE exam.
I adapt very well to the needs of each student and I make almost all the materials I use and adapt them to the specific situations of each student.

My name is Ognjen and I am a certified TEFL and CTEYL teacher with a
bachelor's degree in Economics and Tourism, from Novi Sad, Serbia. Before
my career change, I've worked in the hospitality and tourism industry, all
over Europe, and because of that I had to learn different languages, so I
know how students feel on the other side. I've been working on different
online platforms, trying to help students in free conversation, pronunciation,
grammar correction, and teaching them General English on a daily basis. My
goal as a teacher is to make my students feel comfortable with me, my
methods, and my persona, and my teaching style is laidback and relaxing,
involving a lot of talking and practicing on the spot. I strongly believe that
the easiest way of teaching and practicing fluency is coming through a
combination of conversation, free talk about different topics, word
repetition, and various exercises. When it comes to the lessons themselves, I
am an excellent conversationalist, flexible, very patient, a people person,
open-minded, and easy-going.

Since I learn languages myself, I know the difficulties and hurdles that can arise when learning a foreign language. I take away your fear of using the German language, because the best way to learn a language is to speak it!
You want to take a telc or Goethe exam? I will help you! I teach from level B1 to C2. In the course of my teaching I have specialised in students and adult learners from the age of 19 who want to take one of these exams for professional or private reasons.
If you only want to prepare orally for an exam with me, I offer conversation lessons where I give you strategies and tips on how to pass the exam. You will do a lot of speaking and learn the phrases that are most important for the exam at your level.
I'll also show you how to integrate German into your everyday life, recommend podcasts, books and series to expand your vocabulary.
Are you looking for a job and need help with your application? No problem, I give you application training, revise your CV with you and write applications together with you. I will also prepare you for your job interviews.
Don't be shy and write to me before you book a trial lesson. Together we will work out a syllabus that is tailored to your needs and goals. We will learn what is important for you at this stage and where I see room for improvement. I adapt each lesson individually to you.
Due to my eight-year stay abroad in Ireland, I have a very good knowledge of English and can also explain something to you in English or Spanish, but in my lessons we almost only speak German together.
What can you expect in my lessons?
- Creative and professional preparation for telc or Goethe from B1 level upwards
- Conversation classes
- Language lessons individually adapted to your needs, each lesson is prepared for you individually
- Application training and help with application letters, revision of your CV
- Grammar explanations that YOU just need.
- Quizzes, puzzles, worksheets, books, conversation topics and much more. Learning should be fun!
The most important thing is that you invest a little time and feel like learning with me. In return, you should also do the homework so that we can make good progress. I will be happy to correct it. Let me inspire you!

Hi, my name is Ayşegül. I graduated from Hacettepe University in the department of English Language Teaching. I'm an English teacher in a private institution now. I can teach both English and Turkish.
First and foremost, I want to start with one of my favourite quotation from Richard Henry Dana(!) (I'm not sure whether this quotation belongs to him or not, but I liked it. :) “He who dares to teach must never cease to learn.” First of all, we as teachers must improve ourselves about everything such as cultural knowledge, technology, best seller books new novels etc. We should keep up with the times and try to understand our students.
Then we should know students’ interests, needs, backgrounds and their level of English / Turkish. If we know the aforementioned things, it would be easier for us to decide what kind of materials we can use to attract their attention. Also, one of the key points is that we should motivate the students to learn. As teachers we should teach our students why they learn language/grammar/vocabulary etc. rather than just memorization. Regarding teaching methods we can use student-centered methods. We should use examples from real life so they can broaden students’ knowledge. Also using examples from real life, help students to internalize the examples. I strongly believe that we should make our students acquire the language from all aspects including reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
All in all, as a teacher we have lots of things to do. One of our most important responsibilities’ is to help students to understand that they have enough power and capacity to learn a language if they are determined enough....
