I have been teaching students for eight years, from the beginner level to advanced, and since July I have been teaching online as a freelancer using applications such as Zoom, MS Teams, and Edmodo. I have a Double Major in English Language and Literature, in addition to History. Since completing my TESOL in 2013, I have gained significant teaching experience, in roles in Croatia, Spain, North Macedonia, Ecuador, and Germany. Furthermore, I also possess CELTA Certificate which I obtained in 2018, from British Council in Krakow.
In terms of classroom management and lesson design, I am methodical in my approach and thorough in my planning. I plan my lessons with care and consideration for my students. I incorporate a high degree of personalisation and variation to reflect, embrace and engage with the cultural diversity present in my classroom.
I like to use various materials (articles, videos, books, podcasts, documentaries) because every student is different and has a different learning style. Therefore, my lessons need to be diverse. Also, I like to teach my student how to think critically, and how to apply what they have learnt in debates, speeches, and presentations.

I have been with franscoise for nearly 20 lessons now. She has excellent command of English so it is easy to learn the Dutch expression equivalent to the one in english. She can focus on routine grammar stuff as well as useful daily conversation phrases such as “don’t jump the queue “ etc . She can definitely tailor the programme according to my need but in a discreet manner . Franscoise would give me homework such as exercise from the text or essay to help me consolidate what I have learnt , or simply prepare for the next lesson. She travelled a lot and has international perspective as well as cultural sensitivities but keeping her sense of humour. A kind and understanding person to be with.
