Hi! I am Maaike, a Dutch primary school teacher. Every day I'm doing by best to teach the Dutch language well to the childeren, but also other languages ​​such as English and Spanish.
I have more than 12 years of experience as a teacher, in the Netherlands and abroad, to young and old!
In the Netherlands I have experience in each grade, so I know exactly how the Dutch language is given in primary education. This can certainly help children, but also adults who want to learn the Dutch language in a correct way, having a good basic knowledge is the most important part of learning a new language.
I lived in Spain for 3 years where I taught English to Spanish children and adults. During that period I also followed an intensive language course to learn the Spanish language. Currently I am learning Nepali through Skype. I know what it is like to learn a new language, what it involves and how the learning process works.
I will first discuss with you what you would like to achieve by following the language lessons and what your needs are. Maybe it's just speaking skills, or grammar or listening skills, or a combination. In addition, I want to use my creativity to apply methods that work best for you, personalized language classes. :)

Hello everyone, and welcome to my classroom. I hope you are all doing well. My name is Kimberley, and I live in South Africa. I have an honors degree in Environmental health. My hobbies include hiking, cooking, singing, participating in outdoor activities as well as 0reading books. I enjoy engaging in conversations with people whether old or young and have excellent interpersonal skills. In my classroom, I can help you with pronunciation of words, grammar and reading comprehension. My classes are never dull as I make it as interesting and practical as it can be. I'll listen to your needs carefully and suit my teaching accordingly.
My aim is to help you learn for real. Surely, you need to improve your comprehension skills, but fluency has to be reached or ameliorated. Rhythmic contrast, intonation and pronunciation (IPA) should not be neglected because they are part of the language. I'll provide you with material, learning strategies and plenty of encouragement.

People who know me say that I'm respectful, competent and professional. This doesn't translate into a serious and boring method. To the contrary, I think learning should be interesting and enjoyable.

EXPERIENCE
I've been teaching English for about 18 years. I work with students, professionals and companies. General or business English. I was born in Scotland, but then I lived in Italy and in the USA, where I graduated in 1993. I live in Italy at the moment. I've been carrying out projects for companies such as Sephora, Sma Supermercati, Corriere della Sera and Gazzetta dello Sport, GrandVision and Walt Disney, but I also enjoy teaching students and anybody who's interested in learning English or Italian.

I was born in İstanbul and I lived there. I hold a bachelor degree in cinema and television at İstanbul Şehir University. During my university years, my stories have been published in major Turkish literary magazines. After my graduation I have been specializing in children's book illustration and literature. I founded children's book publishing house in Turkey. The name is Yıldız Tozu Publishing and my books were released. I worked as an editor-in-chief in the company. I was finding books in the world and I was publishing them in Turkish. I am practically and professionally working on Turkish language and literature. Later on, I moved France to continue my education and works about literature and art. Currently, I am learning french.

I have experience in teaching Turkish in years. Furthermore, I speak English very well (TOEFL B2) and French (B1) it is advantage for students who are beginners.

Here my methodology when I teach Turkish:

I will use the grammar books and my presentations, time to time.

For speaking practice: illustrations, daily conversations
For listening practice: Turkish songs, movies, series
For reading practice: news and articles about Turkey (for advance students), stories, picture books (for intermediate students), texts from language books (for beginner and intermediate students.)

If students need to focus specific area like writing etc. I am designing my class according to that.

In addition, it is because I am using broad material about Turkish media, you will be familiar the culture and sociology of Turkey.

I like to do lesson in creative and in an organized way; therefore, I believe you will learn fast and you will enjoy learning Turkish with me!

My name is Eva, Hispanic Philology Degree and Master's degree in Teaching Spanish, and I have taugh Spanish for 14 years in language schools and for companies and individuals who want to live and work in Spain from very diverse sectors (businessmen, psychologists, video game designers, teachers ...), and people who wanted to learn the language by pleasure or to be able to communicate on their trips as well.

I can teach general classes, but I am specialized in personalized classes according to your professional and academic needs, focused on communication, conversation and pronunciation, to which I pay a lot of attention (many of my students come to my classes because they want to 'sound' more Spanish). The cultural component is essential for effective communication.

I like to work on explanations and communicative practice in class, and let the student practice exercises at home that I advise for him between sessions. Your learning can be deeper the more time of personal study and practice you can dedicate to it.

Normally I use a basic manual (I prefer the books by Prisma, the Edelsa publishing house) and complementary books on vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation, among others (Anaya and Edelsa publishing house are my favourite).

But the best thing is to listen to you and attend to your specific case.

Hello, my name is Allisha. I am 34 years old and I am from South Africa. I am a qualified TEFL teacher. I am also qualified in TEYL, which is teaching English to young leaners. Having both these qualifications makes it easy for me to interact with students from any age group. I'm a certified Italian teacher based in my hometown Florence. I spent my childhood in a small village in the Chianti countryside and I always loved to explore curious aspects of different languages. I studied Arabic, English, French and Spanish and I like to help students with practical insights into Italian language to better fix the structures and improve pronunciation, grammar and conversation. Hi! I live in Germany since 2014, I live in the Frankfurt am Main area. I teach German to refugees since the beginning of 2017 and I have been teaching Dutch at several language schools, at peoples homes and in-house at several companies. I passed the C1-level Test for German at the Goethe Institut. 

It is my goal to adapt my lessons as much as possible to the wishes of the student. This means that, besides offering regular learning methods, I am open to initiatives like talking about subjects that are of interest to the student, for example reading and discussing articles, watching and discussing educational videos and/or current happenings in the world.
