Hi, I´m Nancy and I'm originally from Paraguay. I have a C2 level of English(proficient). I moved to the Netherlands over a year ago and my current level of Dutch is B1 (intermediate). I have over 12 years of experience teaching English to teenagers and adults at a language school. I currently work as a freelancer for a global provider of language training. I've taught General English as well as Medical and Business English one-on-one, to small and large groups. I have successfully trained students to take international English language testing exams such as the TOEFL. I also have over 4 years of experience teaching Spanish language and culture. I'm always going back and forth, checking if you still remember content introduced in previous classes.
Before we start our lessons, I need to know your reasons for learning either English or Spanish.. In case you already have some knowledge, I will need to determine what your exact level is. Once I find out about your needs, interests, and level, I will be able to select the right materials and design the right course for you.
We can either work with a textbook (plus extra-materials) or with my own teaching materials. I usually make use of videos, slides, worksheets, and other teaching resources.
We can use any platform of your choice, or if you live in or near Haarlem, Netherlands, we can even have classes face-to-face.

My name is Laia, and I am an infant and primary school teacher, specialized in additional languages. This year I have finished my second degree in Early Childhood Education. Previously, I had completed my degree in Primary Education in English. This last year I have combined my studies with a job in the reception classroom of a school. My main aim was to teach newly arrived pupils the official languages of my country and helping them to adapt to their new environment.
