Intuitive French

I am very happy with Elodie's lessons. We are working on translating songs which is new for both of us, but she does a great job of giving lots of alternative translations, while remaining calm and patient.

Je suis très content des leçons de Elodie. On travaille sur la traduction de chansons ce qui est nouveau pour nous deux, mais elle se tire très bien de l'affaire en donnant beaucoup de traductions alternatives, tout en restant calme et patiente..

Uitstekende lerares. Ben erg tevreden. Elodie luistert goed, maakt aantekeningen en zorgt voor leuke onderwerpen. Leren door het te doen is mijn manier van een taal leren en dat is waar Elodie goed bij helpt.

During Elodie's lessons, small and large subjects are discussed, the variety of the lessons is varied and I like that very much. Elodie also knows how to improve and correct you in a pleasant way. As a student I often want to smuggle something with my knowledge and as a tourist in French life you are often judged harshly. The lessons are inspiring and stimulate my brain so that you have learned something new every time.

Tijdens de lessen van Elodie komen er kleine en grote onderwerpen aan de orde, de verscheidenheid van de lessen is afwisselend en dat bevalt mij zeer goed. Elodie weet je ook op een prettige manier te verbeteren en corrigeren. Als leerling wil ik nogal eens wat smokkelen met mijn kennis en daar wordt je dan als toerist in het franse leven vaak hard op afgerekend. De lessen zijn inspirerend en prikkelen mijn brein zodat je telkens weer iets nieuws hebt geleerd.

Elodie is a good teacher. She is clear, accurate and patient. So far, her teaching method is in line with my learning question: practicing understanding and speaking the French language and expanding my vocabulary.

Elodie is een goede docente. Ze is duidelijk, accuraat en geduldig. Haar leermethode sluit tot nu toe goed aan op mijn leervraag: oefenen in het verstaan en spreken van de franse taal en uitbreiding van mijn vocabulaire.

The lessons are varied and adapted to your needs. Whether formal or informal French, Elodie will follow your wish. The lessons are well prepared and Elodie responds quickly to questions, with exercises and the necessary explanation.

De lessen zijn varierend een aangepast aan je behoefte. Of het nu formeel of informeel frans is, Elodie zal jouw wens volgen. De lessen zijn goed voorbereid en Elodie reageert snel op vragen, dit met oefeningen en de nodige uitleg.

I do not have a formal need but I want to be able to survive and communicate with friends in french in daily life. In that sense, lessons with Elodie is very nice. It is indeed like you are having a casual conversation with your very organized french speaking friend writing down the new vocabulary or the mistakes you make. Even though we plan 1 hour/week, it is already working a lot better for me compared to a 3-4 hour/week group course with 20 people. I had 5 courses including the trial lesson with her now, and I plan to continue as long as our schedules allow.

I am very happy with my choice. A very smart and sympathetic woman who can talk about many topics. In the meantime I have already completed 4 lessons and I have the feeling that I have already learned a lot. Elodie uses a method that I'm not used to, but I feel like it works. (I take classes to improve my speaking)

Ik ben heel blij met mijn keuze. Een hele slimme en sympathieke vrouw die over heel veel thema's kan praten. Ondertussen ben ik al 4 lessen verder en heb ik het gevoel dat ik al veel bijgeleerd heb. Elodie gebruikt een methode die ik niet gewoon ben, maar ik heb het gevoel dat deze werkt. (ik volg les om het spreken te verbeteren)
