Hello everybody, I am Revan. I am a native Turkish speaker. I am an experienced Turkish instructor who has taught Turkish as a foreign language in Turkey and the U.S.A.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in the same field. I hold both DELTA and TESOL certificates, both of which are world-known language teaching specialization trainings. I have been teaching English as a foreign language for more than ten years and teaching Turkish as a foreign language for over five years. As an English language teacher, I have worked with different age groups and specialized with teens and adults. I have been working for one of the top universities in Turkey as a language instructor. As for Turkish language teaching, I worked as a Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant and taught Turkish at Amherst College, UMass- Amherst, Smith College, and Mt. Holyoke College.

In years, I have learned that there is no one specific teaching method as all methods are unique to the needs and abilities of the students. That's why I apply methods ranging from communicative language teaching to flipped-classroom based on the learners' needs.

It is nice to meet you and I would be more than glad to discuss your learning goals in a trail lesson of 30 minutes so we could know each other better. I have a level 3 award in Education by YMCA, where I have planned and delivered a lesson on the topic Bulgarian alphabet to English students. On the other hand I am currently finishing my study in Bulgarian Linguistics and Literature at the Sofia's university. I spent a few years in England where I have been a Learning assistant for ESOL classes, which is teaching English as a second language. I also have a degree from University of Sheffield in Business Administration.
Before starting the lessons we will have to do an assessment to see the level of the student. Once this is done and our goals are set, even if it is for a few lessons only, we will adapt the student centered methodology. The lessons will be interactive, with a participative style -grammar rules will be discussed, speaking , writing and vocabulary.

I got a degree in "DAMS" (Disciplines of Arts, Music, and Entertainment), a degree in "Italian Literature, language, and Culture - Cultural Promotion Curriculum", the CEDILS certification from the Ca' Foscari University of Venice for the teaching of 'Italian to foreigners and I am a CELI examiner of the CEDIS Lazio network. Hi! I have been teaching Italian for several years and I offer Italian lessons for all levels and all ages. In my lessons I often use ad hoc didactized Italian movies and songs, to bring students closer to the authentic language and culture and I always try to stimulate interest in literature. I try to start each lesson with a motivating lexical activization and then to analyze in detail the text (video, audio, written, oral) to face also some grammatical or cultural aspects. I always try to make the lessons fun using even educational games. I’m avaible for individual and group lessons and exam preparation.
