Ciao! My name is Giorgio, I live few kilometers away from Rome and I am a native speaking Italian tutor, certified with the DITALS Level II (Università per Stranieri di Siena).
Words, their amazing mixture of sounds and ideas, have enchanted me for as long as I can remember, along with their multiple expressive nuances and communicative potential. That is the reason why, after my philosophy degree in 2017, I started my apprenticeship in a renowned institute in Rome while volunteering in a school for immigrants. I am a native German speaker who has lived in Bologna for 20 years. Languages are my passion, in addition to German I speak and write Italian and English fluently, and I have some knowledge of French. I've got a legal background, where mastery of the German language is very important. After I moved to Italy I started working as a teacher for a private school, then as an export manager and legal assistant, but I always continued to teach in the evenings. Since 2014, I have been freelancing and devoting myself entirely to teaching and translating. I work for a foundation, in a tutoring centre, I teach in companies and to private people.
I believe I am able to establish a good relationsship with the students and I am flexible in adapting the lesson to the student's needs, or gaps!
I usually use course books with a homework part, but during the lesson I integrate with online material, tests, conversation, material that the student brings me from school or from his workplace.

I am a native German speaker and am teaching English and German as foreign languages. I have got a teaching degree and have been teaching English and German for more than two years to all levels and age groups.
I personally prefer to speak in the learning language as much as possible and to focus on all four skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Moreover, I like to cover practical topics that can be used in your everyday life and make classes as diverse and dynamic as possible. Nevertheless, I am always open-minded to suggestions coming from students.
Concerning materials I like to use a course book and in addition worksheets, audios, videos, etc.

Hello there! My name is Phyllis Kasala and I must say I love teaching. The love for teaching and being a life-long learner found me at a tender age of 14, since then i knew it was my destiny to share my knowledge with the world. I have a bachelor's degree with the University of Pretoria and it is a very esteemed varsity i also went further and secured a Teaching English To Foreign Learners certificate (TEFL) which shows that not only do I want to learn, but I do not like limiting myself. English may be difficult to learn and understand to a person who has no clue about the language but, that's why you have me! I make sure that I teach in a relaxed and quiet environment where the learner feels safe and free to make mistakes because we all must remember making mistakes is a vital part of learning. I am currently on my journey to enroll into my honours which will be about researching how to teach learners with learning difficulties such as ADHD and much more. I cater for all learners be it visual learners, kinetic learners, auditory learners and verbal learners which basically means I cater for all, during my lessons. I make use of creative and colorful PowerPoints that have sound and easy gimmicks to help remember what you may have learnt on that specific day. So do not fret as we will walk this journey together. Just remember I am close friends with all the letters in the English alphabet and I don't know "y" (just a joke to cheer you up)!
