At the end of my university studies, I worked as a lawyer in free practice, achieving a wide portfolio of clients, this I did for more than three years. Complete a teaching component, studies equivalent to a specialization that accredits me to teach at any level, managing to do it at the university level for more than five years. I believe I am a great teacher because I am a very energetic and enthusiastic person. I always try to make learning a fun event with lots of good memories. At the moment I am teaching 4 classes via ZOOM to about 39 students.
My experience:
Many years ago, I used to teach English in Santo Domingo, Dominic Republic. And later when we moved to the US, I taught Spanish to the Americans.
Method (s):
I mainly like to use the CLT method (communucative) with a little mix of Direct Method. I strongly forbid my pupils to use their mother language while I focus on strong pronounciation, creating a communication environment for them.
Materials:
I like both "Smart Choice" and "World Link" series. Smart choice is inexpensive and effective. World Link is more expensive but absolutely worth the price.

my name is Veronika and I am a student in Florence at the academy of fine arts. I have been in Italy for three years and I really like the Italian language. In school i learned english and during journeys i used to speak a lot of english so i'm also able to teach in english.
I am from Germany so I am a German native speaker. I have already taught German to some of my friends and would love to teach my language to more people as well. At the beginning I would like to do grammar lessons and the most used words to deepen the basic knowledge of the language. Then I will continue to have conversations in German to increase vocabulary and to give confidence in dialogue and in any case in speaking the language in real scenarios. The most important thing by learning a new language is to learn it through hearing and speaking. Being difficult at first to formulate sentences will then become easier and easier and thus you arrive at a fluent and confident way to speak the new language.
For myself I learned Italian three years ago with this method so I also know what it is like to learn a language and I can help you with my teaching to learn German that way.

I Have had a few weeks of Italian lessons with Alessia and I have found them very useful. Dear future student, during my language teaching practice I've worked with over fifty individuals. Some of them pursued the language exam, some just used it for their everyday life in Slovenia, or with Slovene partner. Despite certain routine, the main reason that even after seven years this work is still very exciting for me, lays in the individual relationship and approach with respective person. Hi! I have been teaching Italian for several years and I offer Italian lessons for all levels and all ages. In my lessons I often use ad hoc didactized Italian movies and songs, to bring students closer to the authentic language and culture and I always try to stimulate interest in literature. I try to start each lesson with a motivating lexical activization and then to analyze in detail the text (video, audio, written, oral) to face also some grammatical or cultural aspects.
