Hi. I am Hatice. I am a Turkish teacher. I graduated from the faculty of education last year. I took courses to teach Turkish in this faculty. I also attended various courses to teach the Turkish language. Speaking, listening, understanding... I have a certificate to teach Turkish to foreigners. I have been giving online Turkish lessons for about a year. Sometimes we practice Turkish with my students. Sometimes I teach them grammar. I do my lessons in three parts. In the first part, we repeat last week's lesson and prepare for the new lesson. In the second part of the lesson, we learn grammar. We listen to video and audio recordings to make the lesson effective. In the last part of the lesson, we practiced. I encourage you to speak Turkish. I have completed my Bachelors of Science in The Netherlands, and my Masters of Science in the UK. I have thereafter completed my TEFL course in Cambodia and I now teach in Mexico to a kindergarten class for children aged between 4 and 6. We speak and teach English language, conversation, math and reading. I'm aware that every student has their own needs, and know how everybody learns at their own pace. I'd be happy to teach students of all ages at beginners levels the English Language and everything that comes with it. My name is Laura and I am a freelance Italian teacher and translator based in Berlin.
I come from Bari - a small town in southern Italy - where I graduated in foreign languages and literature before coming to Berlin four years ago.
As a linguist and lover of the Italian language, I immediately tried teaching Italian, and I can definitely say that it was a successful idea :)

Me and my student we´ll deal with different kind of communicative situations and I´ll give them the opportunity to talk as much as he can in order to have the closest approach to the language.
During my years of teaching I noticed how often some linguistic skills are trained more than others/are preferred over others, giving less space to first and closest linguistic experience that certainly occurs with the speaking. This is the reason why my teaching method wanted to experience a change of course, that focused exactly on the student´s ability of speaking till the final analyze of the conversation from a lexical and grammatical point of view.

For the basic levels we start from the very first forms of conversation and speaking exercise, such as self presentation, describing an object or talking about one's hobbies or favourite book, with the grammar and vocabulary involved.

Once the student acquires a primary familiarity with the language, I´d let the student keep training with more speaking exercises, first with communicative situations in which we come across daily like ordering something in a bar, asking for directions or organizing a weekend out ´til he/she´ll able to express his/her opinion and to have pure and free conversation on various topics, such as nature, technology, the academic and working world, telling about his/her travels or even on actual world news.

On request I can even provide material on our funny dialectal forms, different from region to region :)

Maybe you need to learn French or Romanian and the momentum is missing. Maybe you are an expert in another area, and you don’t feel to learn a foreign language. I understand it very well because I noticed it many times in my 6 years experience as a teacher and examiner. Though, allow me to communicate with you not as a teacher, but as a permanent and impassioned language learner. Allow me to transfer to you a part of my enthusiasm and my conviction that anyone can learn a foreign language in a funny way. Firstly, I promise you that a foreign language is an open door to another mentality, to another culture. I’m writing from my experience; I’m Romanian and I’m learning French since I was 8 years old. It’s not an easy language, especially at advanced levels, yet in my opinion, it’s the most elegant language. French transferred to me not only an elegant way to express myself - even in my mother tongue but also a different way of thinking; I read in French many classical French writers. During my master studies, I had also the chance to live among French students and I borrowed from them a great way to schedule a working day. I honestly think that learning French or Romanian could mean for you adding value to yourself.

My mother language is Dutch and I mainly teach Dutch nowadays.

However, I have a Master's degree in Spanish and I am also fluent in English.
