I have been teaching for a long time both for preparing official exams or for improving communication and writing skills.
I am also a translator, so I use this skill to understand better my students' needs.
I always try to adapt and design a personalised method to reach theirs aims. I normally use project-based activities that I design myself to make learners know the language at different levels and that they can be able to communicate easily.

I'm Isabel, a native English speaker from the UK, based in Spain! I am a patient, enthusiastic, passionate teacher with seven years of experience tutoring.

I started helping out at my secondary school and I was later recommended as a tutor by the school and went on to tutor children in differing subjects. Having always had a great passion for languages, Spanish and French have been my main focus when it comes to tutoring; helping many students prepare for their GCSE and A-Level exams with a variety of oral, listening, reading and writing-based classes.

In my gap-year, I worked towards a Trinity Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, which gave me the necessary tools needed to prepare lessons that would be both dynamic and rewarding for my students.

In 2018 I spent 6 months in Paraguay teaching English at a local school. While this enabled me to achieve fluency in Spanish, my packed schedule with all ages and abilities meant it was essential to adapt my methods of teaching to accommodate each individual student’s needs. While studying for a Masters in Translation last year, for which I achieved a distinction, I also worked as a tutor at Pembroke Tutors, preparing students for MFL exams and also teaching English. I am currently located in Granada, where I tutor online and teach English to Spanish children.

Of course, teaching is always a very personalised task but I feel that my experience means I am able to quickly understand my students and their styles of learning.

I have been teaching a variety Arabic courses to a number of foreigners from all nationalities.
I teach from beginner to advanced level, I make learning Arabic fun and am able to create a relaxed atmosphere in class.
I prepare the course for my students, after assessing their needs first, I can use the educational material that the students bring along to class if they prefer. I am flexible in this sense, my goal is to ensure that my students level improves significantly in the short time.

You want to take a telc or Goethe exam? I will help you! I teach from level B1 to C2. In the course of my teaching I have specialised in students and adult learners from the age of 19 who want to take one of these exams for professional or private reasons.

If you only want to prepare orally for an exam with me, I offer conversation lessons where I give you strategies and tips on how to pass the exam. You will do a lot of speaking and learn the phrases that are most important for the exam at your level.

I'll also show you how to integrate German into your everyday life, recommend podcasts, books and series to expand your vocabulary.

Due to my eight-year stay abroad in Ireland, I have a very good knowledge of English and can also explain something to you in English or Spanish, but in my lessons we almost only speak German together.

Hi! I am Maaike, a Dutch primary school teacher. Every day I'm doing by best to teach the Dutch language well to the childeren, but also other languages ​​such as English and Spanish.
I have more than 12 years of experience as a teacher, in the Netherlands and abroad, to young and old!
In the Netherlands I have experience in each grade, so I know exactly how the Dutch language is given in primary education. To find out more about teaching languages, I decided on further training at the Goethe Institute and completed it. During the Goethe Institute "Learn to teach German" course I was able to give individual language lessons and actively support the examination preparation for the Goethe certificate.

My lessons are needs-oriented. That means that learning goals are discussed with you and based on your level of knowledge. I have a Bachelor’s in English Language and a post-graduate degree in teaching methodology. I’m fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and speak a little bit of Italian.

I have travelled extensively, lived and taught in Italy and Spain so I’m quite familiar with different cultures and learning styles.

My lessons are student oriented, that means that I always tailor the lessons according to my students' needs, their learning goals and their interests.

After each class my students receive from me extra photocopiable material and notes that I prepare for each specific lesson that we do. I use photocopies, flashcards, games, real life material (articles, songs, videos e.t.c.) and send my students internet links with games and videos that can enhance their learning.

I also give them extra homework for self-study and correct it out of the class. In that way, a lot of work is done individually and off the class so the progress can be very quick.
