OnlineThis is me
For me, teaching is not something to just pay the bills. It’s not a profession where you count down the hours left in the day. I love teaching because teaching allows me to give a child the experience of someone who really gets them and accepts them for who they are, without making them bad or wrong. I wish I could become the teacher I never actually had when I was a child. Teaching is sharing. My students and I learn and grow together and I have as many things to learn from them as they have from me. I would like to pursue my passions and turn my love of children into a meaningful career. I have always enjoyed being socially active, I love to exploit my interests and my skills by assisting in the volunteer community and working when university allows it. My parents always tell me that if I want to make the world a better place, I must start by giving my time and energy to others. I have started tutoring children since high school, and today, after I have successfully graduated Faculty of Political Science, International relations and European Studies, I can say that my most rewarding experience occurred during my time as a summer camp educational coordinator for Sakura Japanese School and during my internship at International Organization for Migration - The UN Migration Agency, where I signed in. The more time I spent with the children, the more I could find out about their life, and I concluded that everybody has a story to be told. It was during the internship work that I learned the value of teamwork, responsibility, perseverance and the joy of working with children. I have been teaching Japanese to children for three years and I enjoy every moment. I have been helping children at the UN International Organization for Migration with their homework and exam preparation, teaching refugees Romanian language and their children Romanian history, English and Math. I have been a volunteer at Create Yourself, an association that aims to provide help to children in need. I have moreover been a public massager for UNICEF – United Nations International Children Emergency Fund, my main responsibilities being raising funds for monthly commitments from individuals in indoor and outdoor locations. Summing up, I am a highly motivated, passionate and energized Master’s student who loves children and wishes to form connections and teach them through unique, creative and surprising methods by offering personalized courses and teaching materials tailored according to their skills and language level.

If you ought to be interested in learning Ukrainian or Russian then Sasha is definitely the teacher for you to consider! That's what I did. Being a student of Russian at my local community college I quickly grew more and more interested in the Ukrainian culture and language. I scheduled a free trial lesson with Sasha here on the platform and was convinced right away. Sasha has perfect knowledge both of the Ukrainian and the Russian language. In my impression Sasha finds a way of getting her knowledge across that is both very effective and convenient. She really cares about her students! Her english is perfectly intelligible and I have no difficulties communicating with her whatsoever. Of course learning a new language is a long and demanding process which everybody should be aware of. But I am confident that I have found here the best teacher that I could have asked for and I am definitely looking forward to many more lessons with Sasha!
Sasha M.Thank you for the kind words, Misha! Happy to be your linguistic guide ;)

It took me a long time to find my real passion in my (work) life. After studying in two universities, graduating in two bachelors, travelling the world and working abroad for several years I realized public education is where my heart lies. I went for the third time back to the university to get my teachers degree.
I have been a classroom teacher for 5 years in Dutch primary schools before I moved 4,5 years ago abroad to Colombia where I became specifically an English teacher. I am specialized in teaching in pre-, elementary, middle (secondary) and high school. I have been teaching in all different grades and all primary subjects in English and got specialised in Teaching English as a second language. Most schools where I have been working were inspired by the philosophy of 'Vygotsky'. A philosophy and methodology I also use in my private classes. Therefore they are dynamic and adapted to your personal needs.
Working in the Netherlands and Colombia in education and in several countries worldwide have allowed me to gain a variety of skill sets. These experiences also have provided me with the tools necessary for working abroad and online including adaptability, patience, dedication to my peer’s success, and respect for cultural and societal norms. Learning English as a second language from someone that is trained to teach the language like this and also once has learned the language herself as a second language (as my native language is Dutch), gives me a lot of benefits in comparison of learning the language from a native speaker.
Aside from this being my day to day job already for the past 10 years in Bilingual primary, middle and high schools, I started private classes to teach English as a second language in the afternoons. I am new to this platform as I haven't offered my services in the past through an official platform. With the recent changes worldwide I thought it is a good moment to focus more on online teaching and decided to dedicate all my time at the moment on online teaching. Therefore I have a wide availability Let me know which level you have and if there's anything specific you would like to focus on. I have experience in teaching all facets of the language.

Tere! I am a language teacher with more than ten years of experience. I have worked as a lecturer of Estonian language and culture at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in Ukraine, at the Tallinn University in Estonia and in numerous language schools. Currently, I am a freelance linguist based in Berlin and teach Estonian online.
It is important for me to introduce a language as a simple logical system that is easy to understand and use. As a teacher, I structure my classes and deliver knowledge in a clear and engaging way, combining theory with practice. Besides my endeavours to make my classes useful, I aspire to make them entertaining and fun, so that my students have a great time in the lesson. By teaching students from a wide range of learning techniques, I always try to provide a personal approach to each student and adapt to their needs, so that they are able to continuously improve their grammar and vocabulary.

Hello,
My name is Zlatko. I believe that learning Bulgarian online with me gives you the best of both worlds: fast progress and enjoyment.Taking on the challenge to learn a new language is impressive. The reasons might be different. Some people give it a go because they just like new things. Others need to learn a new language because they are moving to a country where the language is spoken. Remember that whatever your reason is, it is your motivation that is the key to successful learning.
Who am I and why to pick me:
- online and face-to-face teaching experience: over 15 years helping hundreds of students achieve their language goals
- flexibility: willing to tailor my techniques to both your interests and specific needs
- patience and excellent listening skills
- honesty and collaboration: let's build trust and consider our work as a partnership
- native Bulgarian speaker with oustanding educational background
- sense of humour
Material
All lessons are interlinked to promote better and more memorable learning, with the flexibility to pick out key sections to focus on certain language points. All language is clearly signposted and scaffolded so there is great clarity of progression of learning - students can really feel they are getting somewhere.
In general, my teaching style includes, but is not limited to:
- speaking practice through role-play activities
- stotytelling and discussions
- gap filling excercises
- listening comprehension
- vocabulary development
- accent reduction
How does that grab you? If interested, drop me a line and we will discuss your language goals and expectations.
I OFFER a 15 MINUTE TRIAL LESSON TO DEMONSTRATE WHAT MY TEACHING METHOD LOOKS LIKE.
Hope to see you soon.
Here are a few tips on how to get the most out of every lesson:
1. Review what you covered in your previous lesson.
2. Focus on things you had difficulty with. I will definitely go over them.
3. It is always a great idea to take notes during your lessons. It helps you stay more focused on what you are learning.
4. Feel free to ask me if anything has come up since your last lesson that you want clarification on. Your questions do not have to be prior lesson related, maybe you are just curious about how to say something.
5. Be sure you have completed your homework assignments. If you were not able to complete them, make notes about what stumped you. Were the instructions not clear enough, was the vocabulary beyond your level of comprehension, were the grammar rules too overwhelming, was there too much homework for the time you had planned to spend on it, and so on.
6. Contact me prior to your next lesson if there are any issues or changes you would like to make me aware of so I can have a chance to make changes to your learning plan.
I look forward to seeing you in my lessons.

Hi, my name is Ayşegül. I graduated from Hacettepe University in the department of English Language Teaching. I'm an English teacher in a private institution now. I can teach both English and Turkish.
First and foremost, I want to start with one of my favourite quotation from Richard Henry Dana(!) (I'm not sure whether this quotation belongs to him or not, but I liked it. :) “He who dares to teach must never cease to learn.” First of all, we as teachers must improve ourselves about everything such as cultural knowledge, technology, best seller books new novels etc. We should keep up with the times and try to understand our students.
Then we should know students’ interests, needs, backgrounds and their level of English / Turkish. If we know the aforementioned things, it would be easier for us to decide what kind of materials we can use to attract their attention. Also, one of the key points is that we should motivate the students to learn. As teachers we should teach our students why they learn language/grammar/vocabulary etc. rather than just memorization. Regarding teaching methods we can use student-centered methods. We should use examples from real life so they can broaden students’ knowledge. Also using examples from real life, help students to internalize the examples. I strongly believe that we should make our students acquire the language from all aspects including reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
All in all, as a teacher we have lots of things to do. One of our most important responsibilities’ is to help students to understand that they have enough power and capacity to learn a language if they are determined enough....

As a complete beginner, I am very lucky to have Aysegül as my Turkish tutor. Learning from her is like being in Turkey with a polite, patient and knowledgeable guide. Aysegül is tremendously understanding and always encouraging. Oftentimes, she will ask me a question in Turkish, and due to my baby-level skills in the language, I'll often give her a blank, clueless stare. This does not bother her. She never judges or becomes annoyed at my lack of skills. She just smiles and asks me again or gives hints in English to get me to understand what is being said. Then I don't feel bad or foolish. The thing I like about her immersive approach is this is what foreigners will encounter when in Turkey. If you are serious about learning Turkish, you must speak Turkish most of the time. In order to learn the language, you must listen - and respond - in the language you want to learn. This is her approach and I love it, even if I look like a clueless potato when she asks me questions. Most of the lessons with Aysegül are structured in an immersive way and it is ideal. Since I am not in Turkey, talking with her regularly is the next best thing. Plus, she will kindly correct me when I make a mistake (unlike many of the tremendously polite Turkish population). Her lesson plans are highly structured, logical and abundant. She will go through the materials slowly with you until you understand it. She is always willing to answer questions without annoyance or judgment. After my first lesson, she sent me a ton of materials at no extra charge and without me asking for it. One was a really cool program which helps you learn vocabulary. 100% generous! Aysegül is one of the hardest working and helpful people I have encountered. She is generous to a fault, and despite me trying to compensate her for the extra free hour of time she spent on tutoring me, she refuses any additional payment. (I'll find a way to compensate her, though, just wait!) I am positive your experience will also delight you, so give her a try. You will learn great amounts of Turkish in no time at all. I look forward to many more lessons with her as long as she will allow me to be her eager student.

Hello =)
My name is Karolin and since the beginning of 2017, while I was still living in Chile, I've been giving online classes. I really enjoy my work and it gives me the privilage to get to know people from all around the world, which is amazing.
Both in English and in German, I teach classes for beginners and advanced students. I speak Spanish fluently, but as I lived in Chile for around 5 years, both my pronounciation and my choice of words are influenced by that. I learned and teach the european Spanish but only for beginners (A1/A2). But if you don't mind the chilenean influence, I do teach to a higher level as well.
If you'd like to get to know me and my teaching methods, just contact me and we will do a free trial lesson (please do NOT by a lesson before the trial lesson, not every teacher is good for every student).
See you soon!

Hola everyone!
My name is Diego and I'm a Spanish native speaker.
I was born and raised in the beautiful country of Colombia.
I'm an experienced tutor and have been teaching the Spanish language for multiple years. My students and I always enjoy having a friendly conversation, while learning the language in a fun and relaxed method.
I'm always happy to help any types of students - from different levels, ages, and countries. My students like studying Spanish for their travels, business, relocation, or as a hobby.
I have lived in The Netherlands for 7 years. I arrived there without knowing a single word of Dutch. I learned the language over the years (and also completed my B.A in Business Administration in Dutch). I'm now fluent in Dutch and English.
Based on my own experience, I understand how difficult it can be to learn a new language.
In the past two years, I've been travelling in South-East Asia. I started in Thailand (where I also volunteered in a local language school as a Spanish teacher), and since then moved to Vietnam.
I'm currently living in the city of Da-Nang for more than one year. I enjoy playing football, badminton, cooking, traveling and hiking, discover new places & cultures and the nature, and drive my motorbike.
I am happy that I have the opportunity to help Spanish learners from all over the world to improve their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation abilities.
What can you expect from my lessons?
- You will start speaking Spanish from the very first lesson!
- The lessons are always adjusted to YOUR level, goals, schedule, preferences, interests and progress.
- You will learn Spanish with a patient, enthusiastic and dedicated tutor.
- A friendly atmosphere is guaranteed! You will enjoy the process while learning a new language.
Nos vemos pronto! (See you soon!)
