I have been teaching English for eleven years to different nationalities of different levels. I have taught Grammar classes, conversational courses, TOIEC classes, and text courses for beginners. My teaching methods really depend on the level of the student, I usually teach a concept using two kinds of textbooks to beginners and I provide lots of corrections and sample sentences to advanced students. I am very natural and I love to listen to the personal experiences of my students. I am also TESOL certified, which I believe makes me qualified for the position. I hope to see you in the future.

I live in the south east of England with my wife and two teenage daughters. I studied Theatre Management at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and I am a TEFL certified English and Business English Teacher. I have had many years professional experience in both the media and education industries.

I have been teaching English online for the past 2 years and have accrued over 550 teaching hours on a part-time basis. My rating is consistently 9.96 out of 10 and I have been nominated as one of the Apps 'Best' teachers.

I draw up a 'Needs Analysis' with every new student which allows me to create tailored lessons to suit individual needs. I then devise a structured lesson plan so that students know exactly what they will be learning. I am passionate, positive, energetic and have a relaxed and informal approach to teaching which, I believe, brings out the best in every student and delivers effective outcomes. My broad range of interests provide additional sparkle to my lessons and I always want students to have fun whilst learning.

How will I teach you italian? By playing!
I know that studying a language by reading a grammar book and mechanically completing the attached exercises can be boring and above all does not train your mind.

Learning instead should be a pleasure, so I like to use small funny videos, songs, puzzles and so on.
I also prefer the inductive method so that you can understand how Italian works on your own and then fix the grammatical rules together.
That way you’ll learn Italian without even realizing it!

But all this depends on you and how you prefer to study. I will be very happy to adopt the method that suits your case. The most important thing is that you get your goals with pleasure!
