Hi there,
My name is Filipe and I'm originally from Porto, Portugal. I started learning English when I was 6, and at 19 (in 2007) I moved to London to study. In 2010, I graduated from University and started working (in London).
I have recently taken the Cambridge's CELTA, so I'm fully qualified to teach English at all levels. Due to my previous life and work experience, I am very flexible and can focus my lessons on a lot of different topics - conversation, business/work-related, travel, IELTS preparation, etc! I have experience teaching groups, as well as one on one lessons.
I'm friendly, patient and very flexible with my lessons and students, too. I love to make the process more fun and varied, with lots of materials and methods to keep lessons engaging. I like to give students a safe space to learn in their pace, with a helpful guiding hand.
