Hi my name is Refilwe from South Africa. I have a Bachelors degree in Education, majoring in English and Biology. I have a one year teaching experience and I'm currently a part time English tutor. I recently started my TEFL teaching course.

My teaching accommodates diverse students. My students' learning goals are my main priority. My lessons are student-centered and inclusive. I involve my students 100% in their own learning to make lessons fun and they can have the feeling of being in-control of their learning. My lessons focus on communicative skills to give them confidence of expressing themselves. My lessons are a platform for learners to make mistakes and learn from those mistakes.

For reading I use daily news articles from the net. I believe when we alternate in reading it gives the student an opportunity to practice.
Communicative skills can be improved by free conversations during the lesson and gives more opportunities for students to speak.
