Hello there!
My name is Ourania (correct! the name of the greek muse of astronomy). I am a primary school teacher with a specialization in language education for refugees and migrants (M.A.).
I am also specialized in teaching Greek as a second or foreign language and throughout my studies I have been focused on interculturality.
My teaching experience of Greek as a second/foreing language officially starts from 2019 working originally with refugees from East Asia: educating them culturally and linguistically in the Greek context.
What I aim to offer here is something beyond language lessons, I aim to invite you to contemporary Greece, our culture nowadays, in a fruitful open discussion with our history and background. All the above while delving in our complicated grammar and syntax rules, developing strong communicational skills and all of the 4 language skills, step by step.
