GREEK LANGUAGE AND CULTURE

Hello! My name is Elsa and I live in Greece. I’m a native speaker of Greek. I hold a university degree in French Language and Literature and two masters in teaching French as a foreign language and I’m also a certified teacher of Greek language.
In addition, I hold a master in Educational Psychology that helps me to understand better my students’ needs and handle pupils with special needs.
As it regards my experience, I have been teaching Greek and French for about 25 years. I am teaching Greek in private lessons and Greek history and French language in primary and secondary schools.
What fascinates me in the online lessons is that I enjoy meeting people from all over the world. My students are of all levels and of all ages.
My main concern is to design my classes based on the interests of each one of my students so that learning can be fun and pleasant, especially in children’s education in order to feel happy and secure, and make the lesson a positive experience.
I take on a holistic, flexible and differentiated pedagogical approach to teaching, I need to know my students backgrounds, cultures, and capabilities to provide quality and engaging learning experiences to engage and challenge them.
My lessons are based on communicative language skills. I love designing interactive courses and I use many role games. I want my students to be at the center of the learning and I think real-life connections make learning more interesting.
I provide material on plenty of sources, not only Greek language but also Greek history, culture, literature, etc.
