Professional English Language Teacher and Learning Materials Included

Hello my name is Teacher Siwe and I am a professional English tutor. I have a bachelor's degree in Video Editing from AFDA Durban University and I have a 120hr TESOL certificate. I have grown passionate about teaching because I think it's so wonderful to have the opportunity of imparting a great deal of new knowledge to learners to help them grow and I love that I am able to positively motivate learners and see them inspired by learning something new. I have been teaching English online for a year and 3 months now. I work with students of all ages and all levels. In my class we will discuss and practice lots of different topics of English. A fun fact about me, I have been singing opera for almost 10 years. Learning a new language is something that comes with opera as I mainly had to learn Italian, German and French so trust me when I say that I know firsthand what it's like to learn a new language. Honing performance skills and confidence was something that I had to own singing opera so my students will get extra tips on how to confidently speak a second language. In my class I encourage my learners to not be shy and ask as many questions as needed. Mainly because I know how scary it can be to learn a new language so I always make sure that my learners are comfortable and ready to absorb some new English vocabulary. Making mistakes is good as we all can learn something from our mistakes. I help my students to improve on their listening, speaking, reading, writing and conversational skills via individual and group sessions. When It comes to my teaching approach, I genuinely like to tailor it to my students' needs. Learning English will be lots of fun and rewarding. I really believe that every student has varying individual needs and I like to get to know them in order to have the best method of teaching for them.
