Hi, my name is Fel. I’m 27 years old and I’m from the Philippines. I finished my bachelor’s degree at Saint Louis University and I have taught English online for a year. Recently, I acquired my 120-hour TESOL certificate from Toni Vanilli Coaching Enterprise located at Baguio City.
For one year as an Online ESL Teacher in Baguio City, I have taught relevant English lessons from phonics to conversational English to various students, ranging from kids to adults, who have diverse cultural backgrounds. I also collaborated with other teachers in preparing lesson plans that target vocabulary building, pronunciation practice, and grammar. Currently, I am a part-time remote writer (since January 2021) at a consulting company based in China. As a writer, I also conduct mock interviews with my clients in preparation for their postgraduate admission interviews.
Through the years, I have learned to be patient and understanding. I also make sure that every student feels comfortable whenever they attend my class and I do my best to ensure that my class is interesting, engaging, and fun.
I have decided to pursue my career in teaching because through teaching, I am able to share my knowledge and ideas as well as get to know other people’s cultures which I enjoy the most. Seeing my students improve is very rewarding for me, so I am focused on helping you be confident to communicate in English anywhere in the world. Further, this can also be a stepping stone for you to achieve your goals in life.
