7 out of 10 expats living in Hungary give up learning Magyar (Hungarian) because they find it a torture of grammar. True, our ancient tongue is very different from Indo-European languages both in syntax and vocabulary. However, if you are patient and learn to feel the differences in thinking, you will enjoy enormously.
