My name is Simos and I have a Bachelor’s degree in Greek Philology, University of Crete. Currently I'm having a MA in teaching greek as a second language. I have taught Modern and Ancient Greek in Greece for the past 2 years but I became fascinated with the idea of teaching Modern Greek as a second or foreign language when I realised that so many people are interested in learning it.
My teaching methods are based on the communicative approach, depending on the needs and the age of every student.
The learning material that I use is based on the culture, places and customs of modern Greece. History, Literature and modern articles are used for comprehension, speaking, listening and writing.
