I have been a language teacher for approximately thirty years. I have a Masters Degree in Education, a Bachelor of Arts Degree, two Education Diplomas and a TEFL/TESOL certificate. I have taught English and Afrikaans from grades 8 to 12.
I have also taught Natural Science, History and Life Orientation at junior secondary level. Teaching languages is an inner calling which I passionately embrace.
My lessons are exciting yet interesting. I love teaching the languages and my learners at school are kept enthralled and captivated. My classroom is a buzz of activity and methods includes the use of props, teaching aids and Total Physical Response activities. My teaching of the languages is simplified to such a level children find it easy to understand and remember.
My experience as a teacher enables me to identify and resolve issues with children in a positive way. My number of years in the profession has prepared me to handle any situation that may arise. I love teaching and molding children into successful individuals is my greatest reward.
