Hi, my name is Cari. I am from South Africa. Although I speak in a clear-cut manner, some people think that my accent sounds foreign (I honestly think that that is just because I watched a lot of series as a child).
I am currently studying teaching (B.Ed Snr & FET) at the university of the North West. I only have a semester left of my degree, so I will be graduated by November 2020. I also am certified to teach English to speakers of other languages. This helps me to communicate effectively through using English as my medium of teaching.
My classroom environment is an innovative and inviting area that inspires students to take their Math knowledge to the next level. I am kind and considerate towards learners’ feelings. My learners can be themselves in the classroom.
Positive feedback is used to motivate my learners to learn more. There will also be a step by step approach used to ensure that learners can reach goals comfortably.
I have about 6 months of teaching experience that I gained throughout the 4 years of my studies. I did, however, not teach language specifically, but rather Mathematics or EGD.
