I am a current Auxiliar de Conversacion (Language Assistant) for 2 schools in Almeria, Spain (CEIP San Bernardo & IES El Alquian). I have a degree in Psychology, Criminal Justice and Community Development. I have over 10 years of teaching experience through volunteer work and paid work. My studies have revolved around child development, the brain and law. I am looking for students of all ages who have a willingness to learn a new language.
I believe the best way to learn a new language is not only through grammar and proper sentencing structure, but, also through hands on activities and everyday conversation. The methods I would use are grammar, sentence structure, proper enunciation / pronunciation of words, games, activities, videos, music, and movies to help my students learn English. I believe in creating a fun and enjoyable environment in which the students are able to dictate part of the lesson plan. It will be boring if you do not incorporate what your students enjoy, and more beneficial if they learn a language through things that interest them. I am looking for students of all ages as it is never too late to learn a new language!
