Native French and English Speaker with a Bachelors Degree in Literature

Hi, my name is Maya!

I was born and raised in France with American father and a Japanese mother, and received a bilingual education throughout my childhood. After graduating from high school in Paris with an International Baccalaureate and a Bilingual Diploma, I moved to London to study Comparative Literature at Queen Mary University, where I graduated last summer.

I am passionate about literature, languages and teaching, and have privately tutored young students between the ages of 6 and 13 in both French and English - however, I am also happy to tutor adults. I will be using a variety of resources to help my students improve their vocabulary, grammar, speech, reading and writing - I am also happy to provide assistance with homework assignments if needed.
