I am an education degree holder. I specifically study how English is taught to young adults, but there are times that I handle teaching kids age 3-5 years old. With this, I have learned how to modify my lessons that would tailor fit to their levels and interests. I have 2 years teaching experience where I spent all my teaching episodes at Philippine College of Davao.
Throughout my teaching career, I helped my students to learn English grammar, to expand their vocabularies and use expressions and idioms in written and verbal communications. In order for my students to maintain their interests, I employed differentiated activities such as role play and news writing, to name a few. I also incorporated the communicative approach as a major paradigm so it would be easier for students to have a grasp about the language. Most of my leaning materials were powerpoint presentations and musical instruments. This is the reason why I am so passionate about teaching.
I want to teach English because I deeply love the language, and I want everyone to feel the same. It’s a passion that never abates because I believe that sharing a knowledge cares to ones future.
