Hi there! My name is Andrew Lacey and I am a qualified English language teacher. I want to help you with your learning...together we can make learning English a fantastic experience!
I studied English and history at university and went on to do a CELTA language-teaching certificate. I greatly enjoyed my time studying and learning how to engage with students in a way that makes English language both fun and practical. I am now excited about offering my skills to help you! I believe that language education is a vital aspect in an individual’s personal and professional development in today’s world; it opens doors and creates connections for both learners and tutors. (That's you and me!) As well as bringing people from different background’s together, learning English provides a wide range of opportunities for students to explore. This is what I see as the key foundation in English language teaching, providing you, the student, with opportunity.
I am looking to cater my approach and resources to my students; each learner has different needs and I am determined to meet those in the best way possible.
I have very good communication skills and am well versed in English and in literature and history. I have published a work of historical fiction and possess excellent writing skills.
