I am an English teacher, I lived in Ireland for 8 years from 2012 to December 2019.
I worked there as software engineer for 4 years, and then I studied to become a teacher, obtaining the Trinity CertTESOL certification in February 2017, since then I worked in several schools of Dublin, teaching English at all levels, from Beginner to Advanced, and across different age ranges, from teenagers to seniors, in both multilingual and monolingual classes, I had students from all over the world, in particular South America, Asia and Europe. The school I worked longer (from March 2018 to December 2019) is Ned Training Centre where I worked full time, 30 hours per week.
Together with a General English program I helped my students prepare for the Cambridge exams PET and FIRST, providing them with tips and techniques to achieve better results, and giving them mock exams to familiarise themselves with the various sections.
In December 2019 I obtained the Cambridge Proficiency certification, and then I came back to Italy, and I worked in secondary school, for the CLIL project, teaching Art and Science in English.
I am offering a first lesson for free, where we can have a conversation and I can evaluate your level, and your needs so to fix your objective and the best way to reach it.
The lesson can vary from general English, reading and discussing articles, pronunciation, grammar, exams preparation, Technical English for Information Technology, or if you want I can prepare for an interview giving and discussing questions that are generally asked.
I had experience in acting and directing films in English, so if you are an actor I can help you acting in English, preparing for a scene, self tape, and giving tips for showreels.
I am native Italian, so I can also help foreigner students in conversations and explaining grammar, idioms, and culture related to Italy.
I live in Rome, so I am also available for lessons in person.
