Hello, my name is Gill. I am a native English TEFL Teacher and my career has been filled with a wonderful variety of teaching and training roles. I have a Higher National Diploma in Hotel Management from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. I have been teaching English for 9 years, from children to adults, from Beginners to First Certificate, including preparation for Cambridge English Exams. I have spent 3 years living and teaching English in Spain and now live in Scotland.

I focus on conversational English and assist in subjects such as Hospitality, Customer Service, employment, interviewing and recruitment, Business English. My lessons are relaxed and flexible, making you feel comfortable and confident about learning English. I use authentic materials to make your experience of learning English as real and natural as possible. Some areas I focus on: - everyday English conversations and vocabulary - personalising our lessons to suit your needs e.g. holiday vocabulary. I offer Business English working on presentation practice and interview skills.

I am friendly and enjoy meeting people of all nationalities and I quickly build a rapport with all my students. I love animals and have a cat and a dog. I love walking with my dog, cooking dishes from all over the world, travelling, music and meeting new people. I hope I have the opportunity of meeting you soon.
