Hey there! I am Jelena and I would like to help you to improve your language skills. I graduated from Faculty of Philology as Professor of... Italian and Spanish Language, Culture and Literature. I'm currently specializing on Master studies in field of Applied Linguistics because I am so passionate about teaching and sharing my knowledge with others! I started to teach online five years ago, while I was still student myself. I know how the process of learning foreign language looks like, since I've been learning English, Italian and Spanish for 16 years. Therefore I encouraged my students to speak up even if they make mistakes since that's the most efficient way to learn. I always adjust to my student's needs and make personalized program for each student based on their requirements. We can have official course, have just conversation, explain certain issue you're struggling with, have lessons on specific topic you choose, etc. I usually provide lesson material and if needed make extra exercises. For me it's important to have full immersion in language we learn so I provide audio and video material, newspapers articles, music, movies, and everything we'd deal with in a real contact with the language we're learning. I have also studied in France (Universitè Paris X), USA (Vassar College, NY), experiences that have led me to have a high command of English and French. I've been teaching Italian for 7 years to any kind of students, coming from every corner of the world. Teaching Italian is not only a job, but a... real passion: I started as a volunteer and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to take the DITALS certification. I worked for two years with asylum seekers in Italy, meanwhile I started to work with a language school and a company which welcomes Erasmus interns. Hi, my name is Ciro Di Dato, I am Italian, but I live in Germany. I work as language teacher for several adult education centers here in... Germany and for some language and private schools as well. I mostly teach the Italian language (especially at the moment), but I graduated in English and French Languages, Cultures and Literatures in Naples (Italy) and in English Linguistics in Düsseldorf (Germany), where I live and I can also teach those languages. I am Italian mother tongue and I can speak English, French, German, Spanish and a bit of Greek. After the CoVid 19 outbreak, I started offering online classes, even for some adult education centers for the which I work. I use to establish a communicative method with the student, with which my aim is that he/she could be able to express him/herself as more as possible. Conversation is the first step in order to learn a foreigner language, because only by practicing it, one can learn it and ameliorate his/her language skills. In the same time, grammar is even an important part of the learning process which goes at the same pace as the conversational process does. I normally use books supported by online materials, especially by working here in Germany. Since the online experience on this platform is completely new, it is important to establish with the student as well how is he/she available to work with and what are his/her aims in order to lead the learning process to a functional direction.
