I hold a master's degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures (French and English). I have also earned a certificate in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language (second-level DILS-PG, University for Foreigners of Perugia, 2022), and I am a qualified examiner for the Speaking Section of the CELI exam. Moreover, I have specialized in Teaching Italian Pronunciation and Phonetics.

I worked as an Italian language assistant in middle and high schools in Nice (France) in 2014/15 and 2016/17 for a total of over 500 hours, creating and implementing listening and oral language practice activities to help students improve their oral skills and their knowledge of the Italian culture. I have been teaching Italian online to adult foreign students of different levels (A1 to B2) for almost two years and have gained over 1000 hours of experience.

The motivation of my students is the core of my teaching practice. I define language learning goals together with my students, based on their specific needs and interests. In my classes I use both textbooks with a communicative approach and authentic materials such as videos, audios and news articles.

Even though I don't know much Italian yet (Level A1/A2), the lessons are almost entirely in Italian. The exercises are varied and Sara attaches great importance to getting into speaking. To consolidate, some things are repeated and there are also tasks for between lessons. I am very satisfied with the lessons and can already see significant improvements in my Italian language skills. Sara is also a very nice and professional teacher who is always well prepared. Show original Sara ist für mich eine super Lehrerin und sehr geduldig. Auch wenn ich noch nicht viel italienisch kann (Level A1/A2), klappt der Untericht fast ganz auf Italienisch. Die Übungen sind abwechslungsreich und Sara legt viel Wert darauf auch ins Sprechen zu kommen. Zum Festigen wird einiges wiederholt und es gibt auch Aufgaben für zwischen den Stunden. Bin mit dem Unterricht sehr zufrieden und sehe schon deutliche Verbesserungen meiner italienisch Sprachkenntnisse. Außerdem ist Sara eine sehr nette und professionelle Lehrerin, die immer top vorbereitet ist.
